As you can see from two things here. First his winter green jacket... Second, the tips of his hair. They match EXACTLY. This is an earlier pic of Julian. That is all.

Oh please. Any sane person knows those were trumped up political and or extradition tactics...

I think the confusion here is due to his bottom lip. One of his most defining features is the way his lower lip curls, and the definition between it and his chin. But in the top photo, he seems to have his lower lip curled in as if he is almost biting it, which stretches out the crease between it and the chin. Cover his lower face and it looks more like him.

Going by my first impressions, the first bloke is definately not Julain Assange, the second bloke could be. Having known pictures of Assange to compare with would have made it possible to be more certain.
