I have no need to see my frozen lasagne heating in real time. So, I guess I'm safe.
I complete agree. Just pointing out that cameras are prevalent in our appliances and would probably be soon in our office chairs.
So, your office chair is going to turn into a camera. Got it.

If President Obama thought that Candidate Trump was so UNFIT, and POORLY PREPARED, and HAD THE WRONG TEMPERAMENT, to be President of the U.S.A., why would he spy on him? Trump would self-destruct if he was so rotten.
Why take the risk of bugging a "loser"???

See, Obama has a highly trained cockroach army spying on Trump by taking sketches and dictation..we know this..Obama!!!!
A SMALL, MICROWAVE-DETECTING camera that can see through solid materials in real time has been developed. Soon, the device could be adapted and used in law enforcement and security where, among other uses, its inventors envision airport scanners that screen passengers for weapons or explosives as they walk by.
“It will be exceptionally cheap,” Padilla said. “You can indeed simply adhere it to a wall and it can perform imaging.”

What appliance has a camera in it?
Why does a microwave need a camera?
Where is it?
Can it see if I washed the dishes?
Can it tell me who left their glass in the sink?
I did see a refrigerator that had a tablet screen in the door. I don't see the need. My tablet is very portable.
I did not buy that one but I did get the one with ice and water in the door.

Whilst some of the replies on this thread gave me a good chuckle (thanks for that), I am really amazed that everyone is ridiculing her suggestion out of hand after the revelations contained in wikileaks' most recent release.
It basically outlined that the CIA have been using household items to listen to, and record people's conversations. It talks about hacking TVs, phones and even cars for their own purposes. Why is it so ridiculous to think that they could access a camera on an electronic device? The vault 7 revelations pretty much prove that's exactly what they've been doing. Am i missing something here?

That's disgusting. And I'm sure illegal.
How do you know about that?
