While he is / was awesome going after corruption he chose to handle it poorly.

Agreed. Scumbag De Blasio and Scumbag Cuomo should both be in prison with Scumbag Silver.

I guess when the swamp water's drained a little ... those bobbing heads make for easy targets.

Good riddance Preet.

ETA: This is why people like him should NEVER be allowed to work for the government. ☜ dot right there.

They get everything handed to them in this country. They don't know how to behave. And, then they cause trouble. I think there oughta be some kind of 'take back' clause put into citizenship laws. If you can't act like an American, "There's the door, Bucko. Don't let it bump you on the tush."

It's Political Madness I tell ya.

I'm confused about this comment.

Youre using sarcasm in an attempt to be funny, correct?

I had to delete about two-thirds of my post after realizing I was about to blast the Political Madness forum -vs- the political Mud Pit forum.

This guy was a pawn that protected political big-wigs for years and years. I hear they're gonna run him for Governor now. Do we really need immigrants to come here and run our country for us?

I like Obama, but the firing of Obama-era staff and replacing them with Trump staff is a normal process, or so I've read.

BIG PICTURE HERE: He who controls the Southern District of New York, controls all the upcoming investigations! ! !

- Clinton Foundation
- The Clintons
- Anthony Weiner
- Pizzagate

These are just some of the cases that will have to be prosecuted by the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

It is very important you have the right person for the job. Preet Bharara while at first glance looks like a good guy he is a political hack, who kisses the asses of those above him, and runs rough shot on all those below him, he's a real piece of work.

I realize it sounds cliche, but unless youre an American Indian/Native American, we're all immigrants or descendants of immigrants...

I looked up his wikipedia page and you are right, he wasnt born here.

Would you feel better or be ok with his kids working for government since they were born here?

I was also confused by your other comment, "They get everything handed to them in this country".

By "they" are you referring to immigrants?

For the record, I couldnt stand the guy. Glad they booted him.

I once held a position as a gatekeeper for a certain class of immigrants. There are lots of different channels. Depending on which route one is offered (and heavily dependent on how wealthy one is) lots of doors are held open so wide one wouldn't even know a door existed.

I see certain opportunities which are kept away from birthright citizens. That's not a level playing field. There's nothing wrong with crying, "Foul!!"

But I would be interested in seeing evidence of your claims.

In this case, I'm not sure that your criticism of "everything handed to them" is valid.

According to his wikipedia page, Preet was valedictorian of his high school class then went on to graduate from Harvard and Columbia Law School...

Theres a very small % of people (birthright citizens or not) whove been able to accomplish this, assuming you believe he earned his admission and degrees.
