Spirits taking Stuff/turning stuff on

So I do know that my House has Spirits in it due to all the EVPs i receive when i leave my recorder on. They steal my # all the time. They particularly like my Car Keys. They steal my Car Keys so much that I went out and bought a Key Beeper to locate them. One time I come home I place my Keys on the table while I take my work stuff off I come back to find that they are gone. I look all over the place and I can't find them until I go out and check the Car and sure enough they are in there with the Door Locked which made me puzzled because i always check my pockets before i lock the door and i know for a fact that i had them on the table.

Now today I come home and i find that my older ipod touch model is turned on. And once again before i am done using it I always shut it off. And the kicker is all my Devices have a Pass code on it and no one else knows it except me. The weird part is this is the 2nd time it has happened. The 1st time i just assumed it was me forgetting to turn it off but the 2nd time man i got some chills.

And back to the Keys since I recently bought the Key Beepers my Keys haven't gone missing. In fact I haven't even needed to use the Beepers once yet. I have been theorizing that it is because of the extra weight added onto the Keys. So if the Spirits want to move my Keys to get my attention then it will require more energy to move. I also recently bought a Motion activated Camera and have been monitoring my House I caught some interesting Shadow Anomalies but nothing that looks worthy of posting yet.

I like how you still retain what I perceive as a light-heartedness and an open curiosity even in the face of what might appear as some sort of attack.

May they go squealing out of your house into the night or wherever they go.

In other words, by their very actions they betray themselves, unless all they want is to play and do not have a malevolent agenda (unlikely).

Try telling them to leave you alone, or else..

I do NOT discount the existence of mischievous gremlins, but your story reminds me of my neighbor, a retired teacher, my child's piano teacher, former horse woman, and a window lady getting along in years in her early seventies. She was as sharp as a tack and a great communicator.

She called one day and asked me to come help her find her car keys. She had returned from shopping the day before and left them with her purse on the dining room table as was her usual habit. That morning, they were gone, but the purse was still there, everything intact. She had looked the house over until she was tired, and would I come and look a little close under the table, bed, etc. We looked and looked for a long time in her tidy house. No one had been in the house but her, but the keys were definitely missing. She said a daughter living elsewhere had an extra set, and she would have them sent over. So I went home.

The next day she called to sheepishly tell me that she had found the keys. SOMEBODY had placed them in the 'fridge of all places! She insisted she did not do it. Marge is gone now, but I still believe that, she put the keys in there herself, probably when she put something from the grocery in there.

I'm now older than Marge was at that time and I find myself accusing all sorts of entities of misplacing my things, and I just might be right about some of them, but, really, it could all be my doing.

I'm only saying don't take your past abilities for granted no matter how young/old you are...and occasionally, remember Marge.

I am definitely pretty dam curious about them thats for sure. However I am more afraid of Humans then Spirits. I am also more Spiritual than Religious. Im Catholic but I dont believe everything is a Demon. Ive talked to some pretty Religious people about this and they always try and convince me that its a Demon and im like come on why does everything have to be a Demon when there are Angels to? Lol I believe in the Holy Spirit but I tend take a more Scientific approach. If something is truly happening I want evidence to back up my claims. I have plenty of audio evidence in the form of Spirit Voices aka EVPs that I have been posting here on ATS but very few photographic evidence.

I also caught this Golden Light Anomaly on camera. Notice how solid the light form is compared to the Mirror Flash.? The interesting part its right by the Bathroom and we have done some major remodeling in the whole House and the Bathroom is newly remolded from the original as well. I have a feeling that all the remodeling woke something up. And I can also see these Light Forms in the day time with my naked eye So i am wondering if they are also attracted to certain peoples thought patterns as well because no one else ever seems to notice them and yet they make intelligent movements up/down left/right.

I am a very skeptical person when it comes to the paranormal, but I have had to admit to myself over the years that some things simply cannot be explained any other way.

I still don't know what it is -- it could be any number of things. You've labeled your experiences as "spirits". That sounds pretty benign to me. My very few experiences have been far more disturbing and dark. I have been asked what I thought my it was and i can't answer that.

Spirit...?

No.

Ghost...?

It doesn't fit the profile.

Demon?

Maybe.

I truly don't know.

The spirits do not steal your stuff, they blind you so you can't see your keys. They like to have you around, it is lonely there with nobody around. It could be worse, they could be changing the locks and not leaving you in. Oh, that is the landlord that does that, but how do you know if they are not possessing him to do it at the time. Just because you do not pay the rent is not a good reason to get kicked out.

If they can move physical stuff around, and turn electronics on and off.. Why can't they try to clearly communicate with you or clearly make their presence known? Why is it all just stuff that borders on possibly being delusions instead of clearly real stuff?

A lot of things occur when awareness is absent; if you don't mind... lots of stuff goes missing. If you do mind? You remember where they were in the spatial conceptual reality of their existence.

A habit takes roughly two weeks; placing keys on a hook every day for two weeks will start putting them there awareness present or not.

Forcing oneself into a habit one wants to develop; or forcing oneself out of a habit one wants to break? Two weeks.

If enjoyment becomes less in the new or from abandoning the old? Then it may be best to access how it affects others that matter to you in keeping or abandoning it; or at least having a conversation with them.

Placing the beep device on your phone; made you the beep device as in being made more mentally aware of your keys becoming a bit more significant and special... I use to lose mine a lot in the 90's; then I added a chain on them. If they fell I would hear them, if placed somewhere? There was more bulk and heft; in being able to see and also placing them. That solved the issue with a quickness... until about 15 years later I was mowing a 3 acre property and they slid out somewhere over that three acres of bumps and noise... lets just say square pockets are better than angular for keeping things from falling out; making pockets function as intended.

It's just some of that; Everything has a place and placing it there... and if it doesn't have a place either make one or get rid of it for simplicities sake(something I am currently working on(yay Spring time). I like things that work well and have durability; as I put it to utilitarian use, and if it breaks I fix it, I also put a lot of engineering thought into something before I buy it.

My parents wanted to give me some digital microwave; I prefer mine that just has a dial no standing there thinking and pressing(less parts also means less points of failure)... I just turn the dial and walk away. The triangular pocket thing has one less corner to trap what it is trying to retain; so I find it a design flaw, those finding what you have lost out of them when sitting down however? Likely don't see it as such...

Just wait until the spirit figures out how to make your keys beep, then becomes stronger and moves the keys under your bed and continously makes it beep at an interval of 5 minutes!

Then eventually deletes your ipod!

Then it starts your car and leaves it running outside!

Then it decides to do the nasty to you!

It's probably sprites.
They play tricks if you ignore them.

Try leaving out a bowl of milk and a cookie at night.

My dad told me a story of being out in the woods camping alone, and one of the hands of his antique pocket watch vanished from inside the bezel during the night.

Tell me more about sprites, because I always figured this for E.T. watch repair ("this human has one, just take that part").

Yeah, folklore stuff.

Elementals, spirits of the land.
They don't like strangers, and they don't like their paths being closed.
They play tricks on people when they are angry. They move things and hide things.

You can appease them, but I think the milk and cookies might be hedgehogs.

I believe that John Keel associated these folklore creature with aliens in 'Operation Trojan Horse'.

Sorry, not really. You could try Google, and investigate your local folklore.

It's just when I get that, things being hidden etc. I blame the pixies, the sprites and the bogles.
Strange similarities between those stories and the alien stuff, but it's not something I've studied in detail.

Good Guess but i wasn't wearing a watch or anything reflective.

O and last night I felt a good solid two pulls on my Bed sheet covers in the Middle of the Night when I was fast asleep. The 1st one woke me up so I stayed still but still had my eyes shut closed and just waited to make sure it wasn't the Bed sheets just falling over then I felt another good solid tug on my Bed Covers and I knew it wasn't me so i quickly jumped up and of course no one was there which left me puzzled.
