Sean Spicer wore his flag lapel pin upside down (a traditional sign of distress within the government) at today's press conference. It was either an accident (yeah right) or a desperate plea/announcement that things are completely out of control in the Office of the President of the United States of America.

3rd possibility: sign of distress that the deep state poses a serious threat to our nation and needs to be annihilated.

That is true. Either way, highly doubtful that it was accidental.

I fail to see any evidence at all he's an idiot. He seems quite sharp to me. I doubt you would stand any chance whatsoever in a debate against him.

The American public? His own political party? Vladimir Putin? I dunno. But displaying the flag in that way implies meaning. Unless he's just an idiot, as user TinySickTears pointed out.

Wow...drama drama drama. Are people seriously reading into a lapel pin that was likely accidentally put on upside down or, gasp, maybe he bumped into something or knocked it by accident and it spun?

But yeah...its a signal to the people that the White House has fallen...LOL

Either that or it's one of those pins with a round pinch on back. Those things can get spun around quite easily. It got jostled by something and spun upside down and no one noticed in time to correct it.

Too bad it wasn't a fly that landed on him during the press conference and we could have the (totally relevant [sarcasm]) antichrist discussion.

Very possible. Rustling jimmies can be a contact activity, so it is likely the pin was jostled while Spicer was full speed rustle ahead.

Those had to have been some of the dumbest threads on ATS.

Anywho...its a lapel pin...I have worn them myself before and know first hand how easy it is for them to spin....likely an accident, but I still fail to see why this is even being discussed as widely as it is.

Oh, poo! Don't you know the POTUS is always, always the antiChrist? It doesn't matter who it is. All that matters is what he or she is.
