Don't do home improvement projects together.

My husband will still not come around if I have the nail gun in my hand. Because he is a smart guy.

Most relationships and marriages fail within the first three years so that is a good guide. If you have lasted longer already and the love is still strong along with the desire then DO IT! if it ain't then DON'T!

You might as well be as miserable as the rest of us lol. Just the laws of female mutation have a half life of 2 years, after which there is an increasing probability that 50% decay will occur every 2 years thereafter. I've been married 41 years this summer and using that decay rate is pretty accurate, she's at about 1% of the original relationship ;-) Of course, I'm probably not much better, but I am optimistic to a fault and her negativity, summed with my optimism, means we are living in a null space.
