Sounds like the bots come in a semi-real life like wife model, offering a lot of the mundane behaviours a real wife offers. Wont cook or work, hates your freinds and despises any activties you could posibly enjoy togther. Just need to program it to give you orders whinge and then argue with you about everything and it would be the same as being married to the real thing.

It is dull. Honestly I have long been all for this MRA/Incel wet dream, because then, maybe these guys will leave women alone, but in the end, I don't think that's what will happen.

Men will get bored, but not because of the reasons that you mentioned. Men are wired for dominance and sure, they can probably program these sex dolls/bots/ whatever to do what they want. Customize that programming even, but in the end, it's artificial so there isn't as much validation in dominating an object so... dull.

Real women will still be associated with more status because controlling them is more difficult mostly. Also, it will just encourage and even socially program men to see women as objects even more; sort of the next level after porn for that. Which means, they'll just treat women even worse, and we will be expected even more to act like living dolls with no will of our own.

I don't know how well this will work. Look at it from the other side. Women can go out and buy exactly what they want, in damn near any size you can imagine, any time they want. It never goes limp, it doesn't cheat on her, it doesn't steal money out of her purse, etc. But they still deal with us. There must be something about a live partner that makes it worth while.

As for the price, $15,000 is a hell of a lot cheaper than a house. I've bought two of those and I still don't own one...
