It's a disgusting practice and could potentially ruin someone's life.


It's a very common tactic for pundits. You don't think they actually write all those political books or newsletters, do you? They hire ghostwriters and slap their face on the cover.

Some of the propaganda channels though like to invent their personality, that way there's no expensive contracts to pay. Get a few writers behind a persona online, and start churning out the content. It's not always political either... Trump did this with Trump University, and several people writing for him.
