It's his body.

No it's not.
It's the government's body.

Otherwise how could drugs be illegal?
How is it illegal to end your own life?
Why are so many medical procedures regulated or prohibited?

I'm pretty sure we are government property.
This type of modification/augmentation behavior will be regulated significantly in the near future - be patient.

How do people afford to do this sort of thing?
Seriously, I would living pretty if I could spend that much on my wants...

Credit cards.

And what ever doctor did this needs to have his license removed. Number one: Do no harm.
And some of this is irreversible damage, although a lot of it looks like fillers and makeup, which can be removed.

How does someone so young have credit limits that high?

The article says he is a model in LA. Maybe some model agency helps him pay for it or maybe he actually makes decent money. I don't know but its an insane amount of money to spend on it in my opinion.

I didn't mention it, but I"m sure this will actually have a lot of financial benefit for him.

Modeling, some movie roles and probably a lot of brief cameo's in music videos. He'll be a hit with the usual hollyweird crowds.

Shh... We are to be convinced that this is perfectly normal..

No, I don't think so. I doubt that anyone thinks this type of severe "body modification" is normal. Nor the lizard guy or any of the other extreme body mod people out there...that's why they make headlines.

Wow. I can't even get a tattoo because I am sure I would regret it.
Best wishes Vinny.

Hah, the best thing about tattoos is regretting them later on!

No idea how he got his money to do this ? Or who supplied him with it?

Anyways I guess the Lefties will be protesting that we should all accept him as 'Normal'. I can't wait for those protests!

Yes... he's normal.. ok, I get it.

What an idiot.

There is no doubt in my mind he will live a miserable life

You can identify as asexual without transforming into an alien.

If he sees his body and life as some sort of living art, then I (kind of) get it. But that isn't how he is describing his transformation.

Honestly, I just see hurt and pain attempting to disguise itself as being "outrageous" and progressive and self-embracing. I dont judge him... but I pray for him.

Well, you do not see that every day.

I may not understand the individuals preferences, but I can say that I have no right to lambast the person for them. I do however find those choices fascinating. It interests me greatly to know, precisely what drove this person to assemble this persona for themselves, to the point of aiming away from humanity in terms of physical appearance to this point. I am also curious, as to whether or not this choice will prove horrific for their mental state as they grow older. This person appears to have chosen rather early on in life, to not only have major remodeling done to their appearance facially, but intends also to have their genitalia entirely removed, not changed, not swapped for want of a better word, but just removed entirely.

I wonder, will the lack of an organ of some description, and the lack of access to basic fleshly pleasures eventually send them over the edge, assuming that they are not already, to some degree, at that stage now?

I am not a body modification prude in the least. There are many ways a person might change themselves in order to feel comfortable in their skin, from mere adornment for pleasure and styles sake, to gender reassignment which is a much more serious business, done for much more serious reasons.

But this seems... wild, by any standard.

I agree the choices that lead one to do these things is fascinating. Mostly because I can't even begin to understand or empathize with the choices. I also have some of the same questions as you. I sincerely believe he will regret this later in life.

So, he joined the LGBTQ+ movement because he doesn't believe that people should be labeled, yet he's on a show called "Plastic Hollywood" and has an ultimate goal of being a "genderless alien."

How's that non-labeling working out?

(a) no doctor would ever agree to remove his genitals to become genderless... and I am sure he is smart enough to know that. But he can express this outrageous desire for attention without the consequence of such surgery.

(b) for him claiming that he wants to look like an asexual alien, he puts a lot of effort into very feminine human eye make-up... never seen a "grey" that had huge lips and false eyelashes

(c) Looking at the list of 110 "surgeries":

VINNY'S 110 SURGERIES TO LOOK LIKE AN ALIEN SO FAR
35 whole body and face laser treatment
12 cheek fillers
2 brow fillers
15 lip fillers
10 fillers for random wrinkles
5 botox sessions
5 nose procedures
1 botox under eye
5 facial peels
20 cryo facial freezing

With the possible exception of the non-specific "nose procedures," these are not permanent. Laser treatment, lots of fillers and botox and peels.... this is the stuff that hollywood stars are "made of" and the do require repeat fills and injections because they are not permanent.

I stand by my previous comment, but this 110 "surgeries" hyperbole is just all part of the attention-seeking.

Again, I pass no judgement... only have love for him as a human being. From my perspective he is likely hurting in a deep way. I pray he finds peace and contentment in his life.
