U n c h a i n e d



I feel light as a feather and free as a bird. I can feel the wind breeze through my hair and the sun beam across my body. I am consoled by the gentle grace of the clouds as I pierce through the ocean skies. As the world around me moves at a thousand miles, I am still, I am calm, and I am at ease.

I am finally free...

No longer am I burden from the chains of life. I am free from the encumbrance of pressure, free from the punishment of expectation, free from the albatross of responsibility, free from the afflictions of love and the bindings of pain.

I no longer feel any sorrow, only joy.
I no longer feel any regret, only contentment.
I no longer feel any pain, only peace.

I don't know where I'm going, but I do know the end of one journey is the beginning of another.

That was beautiful, almost poetic. The picture was a perfect visual to compliment your story.

I liked (no, loved) the lack of pain, to be honest. A lot of people have passed away recently (in my world) or are sick and on limited time now. I truly hope they go to someplace "free".
