Loved it and as good a place as any, I reckon, to end up

"Where are my kidneys?" she grimaced feeling around her back. "Damn Mandela Effect stories and now I don't even know where my kidneys are! Or is that my liver? I dunno where the liver is...my liver...MY LIVER!! Ohhh..." And just as she realized what was happening, she lost consciousness.

My gosh this had me snorting laughing! Searching for the Shed
characters' was fun also. Our happy place IS home to us, isn't it?

P.S. Pass me some of that Tylenol!

Aww, thank you Thelma...you know I appreciate it!

As I was writing the part that you quoted, a part of me was thinking, "If this is a self fulfilling prophecy...you should really not put it into print." But they say, "write what you know"...so I did.

Yes, our happy place is home. My imaginary world is fine, any port in a storm.
*passes Tylenol* (Be vewy vewy careful)

Your personality was shining throughout the story. You seemed to have fun writing that.

Thanks,

Such a sweet thing to say bally...thank you! I really did enjoy writing that...more than I expected.

FauxMulder...Thank you so much! If you like funny pictures in your head, you should stop into the real Shed sometime! They're always throwing glitter around, those crazy kids.

I really appreciate everyone stopping by!!

Aww...Marty...
...I quoted you just so I could read that again...thank you!!!

I just really appreciate that...I do.
xoxo

I'm just getting back, had to leave abruptly when Real Life screamed at me, lol. I was mid-thread (in a lot of threads) so want to run around and apologize for bailing out earlier.

I'm so grateful to everyone who has stopped by, thank you!!!

Wow, just got here and see I've had company!

kibric...lol, yeah...I got friends in low places...sounds like a country song to me!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, for the funny pic hehe...and the support!

Errollorre...Thank you so much for your kind words. If I had started adding more 'characters', I would have been writing for days, lol! I definitely think part of my brain is always thinking in "Shed" mode. (and it shows)
Thank you for reading my babble.

JinMI...Oh hey, I appreciate that! There's magic in that place for sure, thanks to all the members and characters who keep it alive. (Night Star is the pulse of The Shed...I think when everyone enters, their hearts all link in sync with hers!)
(I think I've read your story, but will definitely double check when I'm done here. (so many entries already)
Thank you very much JinMI!

luckskywatcher!! ("Luck...I am not your father")
(does everyone get the pun of your name? it's fab!)
Thank you for saying that. Had writer's block for a long time and it made me sad. Sometimes when one of the contests comes around, you just get the itch to start writing (if the theme is good). I'm surprised I came up with a story at all, to be honest. (I know I've read your story, lol...I recognize that "matriarch" story & your avi!

Much appreciated, everyone!
Sorry it's all in one long message but I'm not self-promoting for more stars, lol. (Support those non-writers, it's nice to have the title "Writer" around here!!)

Hi SprocketUK !!!
You caught that 'shift'...? Yay!! Thank you!!

You know how sometimes when you write something, you think it's really clever in your (drunk/caffeinated/tired/loopy) mind...and then nobody notices it?
Yeah.
Thank you, sincerely!

Hey heliopolis!!!
Spell check always changes your "h" to an "H" and I always change it back.
I too use a small letter instead of a capital...so I respect your right to write it how you want!!!

Thank you for your kind words.
I love how we all support each other during these writing frenzies, haha...much appreciated!

You're an amazing writer. I'm whisked away to other realities when I read your stories. You're one of the only writers on this forum who does that to me.

Please accept my apology for whatever I did to make you ignore me. I think there was a misunderstanding.
