Now here is my question, if there are people on here who think a person should use the bathroom or only do things as the sex they were born not the one they "believe" they are, then does that not also count for everything else.

People on here are saying she/he should not be allowed to wrestle girls because she is going through a change and they are certain drugs she is on giving her more strength.

Should you be allowed to pick and choose what time a person gets to be the person they think they are?

You are born male or female.
What you think you are doesn't change what you are.

The issue with the topic in your OP has more to do with the subject competitor being a female taking steroids because of her gender reassignment than it does with what bathroom she chooses to use.

Considering that there are already at least a dozen threads on this subject I would say yours is redundant and ill informed.

That thread was disgusting and just showed the ignorance of the anti crowd.

Many of them spent the first 3 or 4 pages denouncing boys fighting girls without realising she is currently a girl.

Then do people get to complain when a girl transitioning to a male wins an all girl championship because Texas laws says she was born a female, so therefore she must participate in female sports.

They are basically saying she is transitioning to a male so she has to wrestle boys, these same people complain when a trans person uses a a bathroom they sex they believe they are.

I read about that story a few days ago.

In this particular case, isn't this more about PED's than anything else?

In an effort to burn off some of the ignorance that surrounds me on this subject; how does one who is physically one gender, in effect transition into another and expect to compete within the same rule sets?

I can understand the mentality of it all, from the outside in anyway, but we are talking physical aspects in this scenario. How can it be justified?

I understand that some males identify as females and vice versa, and I don't care what bathroom they use. I don't think most people do.

My question is, why has this become a big deal? Why is the transgender issue an issue at all?

Exactly, it was disgusting and it proved one thing, those anti transgenders were up in arms because a transgender won a tournament because a law said she had to and showed they wanted to cherry pick when a transgender can be who they are.

So their outrage was nothing to do with that. Just blatant ignorance.

This seems ridiculous, if the parents or parent in some cases fails to raise their child with the proper ideals of what genitalia they have, then in my opinion it's is their fault. If the child cannot adapt and "fit in", (for lack of putting that in better terms), than I believe the parents are at fault, and they raised a nuisance to society. Trans are the .5 percent at best, EVERYONE can see it. Some decide to raise stupid problems, simply because they have nothing betting to do!

Because there are idiots out there who have used their own perverted sexual fantasies and concocted this world where transgenders are out to get their get kids.

But in this case physical build was the issue.

As far back as I can remember, parents influence everything. You learn everything from someone at some point in time. If not properly raised with basic but human ideals. Then the brain may wander into who knows what... ideas don't come from nowhere. Influence is everything, and bad influences breed bad ideas.

Because in 2007 Nicole Maines, 5th grader - - did not quietly accept abuse and go away. She sued for her rights.
