He just got it and had to set it up to his spec. So far, so good. Haven't plugged it into his amp yet so He'll get back to you on that.

Mark (Hubby), used to use a Fender Strat and still does, but mostly when he does old school Hendrix type stuff. The newer guitars which he has, Ibanez and Ernie Ball are for more stuff like Pantera style music. The Ernie Ball does a blend of acoustic and electric which in his opinion seems the most versatile. He had to remove one trem spring to loosen up the bridge to the way he likes it. Other than that the action seems low, but usable. His guitar is second hand and he doesn't know if the original owner messed with the set up.

Using a Line6, but it has not had an update in over a year.
Im very particular about Locking necks and Floyd Roses.
I tend to screech harmonics a bit.

The fender here is rebuilt and painted by hand to match the Ibenez.
It's the quick go to without hooking up.

Pantera, Megadeth, Slipknot, Godsmack, Metallica ,Testament....
Van Halen ,Vai,Satriani .....

Then some night I'll get mellow and bluesy. Beatles too... George Harrison ( I think i share a birthday with him )

There is a Fender Base here too.
Had it here for a year. Im trying to learn the opening to learn "Madalaine" from Winger on base.

Oh I remember Winger! Great stuff! I think that's my favorite word today, 'stuff'. Love my Metallica! My taste in music is rather diverse from classical to heavy metal.

MarkStar, I like that! LOL I just told him he has a new name and he laughed. He's not into forums, but I'm always talking about this place to him, when we talk. Usually we kind of live in different rooms. LOL! I'm usually at the kitchen table with my laptop and he's always in the parlor.
