Can you recommend any good books to properly learn telepathy?

Anything by Ingo Swann.

Also know, that "reading" people's minds requires the silence of a ninja and the acceptance of the "evil" within yourself, lest you scream out in fear "reading" what others are thinking.

They don't have 90,000 pages of formerly classified experiments for something that doesn't exist.

Gell, I would peruse my link. It may help...Or not. Hopefully it does, though.

There is tons of crap books on learning and using psi powers. I suggest take a different route. The process of Remote Viewing has been scientifically proven. Basically, it is a skill of getting out of one's head into an ethereal state.

The actual training manual created and used by the CIA sponsored investigation of the phenomena back in the 1970s, describes how to develop the skill that supposedly about anybody can develop. (That manual by Ingo Swann is available free on line.) Why ask these questions of ATS? A few seconds with Google and you can have a life-time of reading at your fingertips.

Get a person you trust, sit next to each other, stare straight in the eyes, think you are the other person, imagine that you are looking in a mirror, see yourself, change perspective.

Before going to sleep, in perfect darkness, open your eyes and try to see objects, see in the dark, use your eyes, but see with the mind,

Every time you wash your hands against a perfect white background see the echo in your hands, observe the outer limit.

Observe your self through the environment, in your mind, shoot yourself up to the sky, see the flat ground become more round and smaller.

These are just a few examples that will help your mind loosen from your skull.

You are better off trying to learn how to read people's body language which in a way is a superficial form of telepathy. Knowing these traits and tells gives you insight into how to handle various situations.

You'll find that telepathy in the way you mean doesn't exist. Nobody has the ability to read the minds of others.

There've been fascinating anecdotal accounts that suggest some type of connection between individuals. Precognition of a loved one's death or those incidents when we think of someone we haven't seen for weeks and then see them immediately. Despite decades of study, nobody has found enough to *prove* such anecdotal evidences or offer a medium for how such thoughts could be transferred between individuals.

Some of us have experienced what would be called 'precognition' and most have us have bumped into a long lost friend we were thinking of on the day. Even if there's an unknown force or medium at work, these examples are rare and apparently random.

What you seem to be asking for is mind-reading at will like getting water from a tap. No such thing and that's something to be grateful for. Who wants a world where strangers can *read* our minds? Would you sincerely want that power? Is there any use you can think of that isn't negative and exploitative?

I'm an 'accidental' telepath. If someone in my vicinity is thinking about something hard enough I'll pick up on it.

The trouble is that I can't distinguish the thoughts of others from my own. It's only if they say something about the subject that I realize what's happened.

It was interesting a few years ago when I worked for a local charity as a volunteer. One of the boys there had some form of autism. He must have been highly intelligent because he'd earned a Degree, but often when I was near him it became really hard to make sense of the world.

At the same place I also heard loud and clear a co-worker's longing to go home. All the time...

As to the OP, they created a thread asking for help with telepathy some time ago. Of course, several of us pitched in to help. I don't think I was the only one to send telepathic instructions - never heard back though

I'll take your word for it. Outliers in the population report these things and we have to take them or leave them depending on credibility.

It's as if whatever is behind the reported experiences is somehow wild and uncontrollable. If real, practice is moot because it doesn't occur with enough frequency for people to be experts. There're also the aspects of epigenetics and micro-expressions to account for which operate at levels of consciousness we can't even be aware of.

I beg to differ with you. the data is out there for that and other psi talents. You can call me crazy--I don't mind--but my solid proof of mental powers comes from my UFO abduction experience in 1964. They, at least, can control human minds at a distance.

As I've said before, that self-evident fact is found in about every UFO abduction case reported. Your strong denial is not based on facts, merely your own lack of experience.

I don't think I've got the proper 'filters' in place so probably a lot gets through that shouldn't. Maybe it's a similar thing to crowd mentality? The tuning in and even behaving in an uncharacteristic way. Poor me when a one-time colleague wanted to study A level maths. I nearly signed up for a course too, the desire was that strong. It seemed so feasible until I reminded myself what an absolute no-hoper I am on that particular subject.

I'll mention 'family' telepathy too. I don't know if all families are sensitive to each other's thoughts but I've seen several examples of that plus experienced it myself. There's a sort of undercurrent.

Epigenetics is a bit beyond me - I just googled it and I'm not much better off

I recommend reading Isis Unveiled, by H P Blavatsky.

Though, I'm quite certain that upon reading the book you will not be able to achieve the telepathy that you so desire. Rather, you may inadvertently find yourself more proficient in understanding the mythos behind telepathy and how it has been subverted to indoctrinate the masses.

Cheers.

Heres a direct link to download the free pdf, or just do a search for it on your own if you don't wanna trust me:

Psychic abilities

Masquerade of Angels by Dr Karla Turner (RIP) Some say murdered for her controversial research
I recommend all 3 of her books (but only the book mentioned above is about a psychic and his abilities that I highly recommend), which coincidentally can all be found here for free pdf download:
