Another stupid thing......this issue has been gone over and over in the courts. There is case precedent and law standing the issue shouldn't even come up any more.

Here we go again with the AR-15 looks "Scary", "Assault Rifle" debate.

Anything can be an assault weapon, but by definition a assault rifle is a rapid firing gun (auto) which has been heavily regulated already for a long time. Anyone can still own a full auto gun you just have to pay a lot and get a tax stamp and jump through hoops to own one. There was no mass shootings before the ban of full auto's. So that right there is proof that it isn't the guns it's the change of our broken society. The economy and jobs sucks and people are fed up with it's useless government officials that have been in office WAY TO LONG and need to be fired. Passing bills before they read them is a clear indication that this government is running blind.
