Looks like a water-spout to me. Did it say east or west coast of Florida? Not uncommon in the east coast.

It does, other than the fact water spouts are usually touching the water or the clouds.

CGI. The reflection of the thing is mysteriously absent on the water below.
CGI. Created by a dipstick to get YouTube hits/views.
CGI Clickbait.

cgi is my bet.

looks fake.

I looked at that youtube account, they have no other UFO videos. Nothing weird. I searched for the same thing, normally secureteam would have it if it was fake. I couldn't find it anywhere else.

I did go looking for something to indicate it was fake. I couldn't.

An alien ship would be symmetrical.
God I hope they're symmetrical.

See, we can't know. We only guess they would be.

It does show a shadow, Are waterspouts suppose to move and even writhe? That is definitely not a funnel cloud. I am calling a fake

its CGI, the tracking of the camera motion isn't perfect so the object sort of jumps around ever so slightly.

In general with these types of videos the same questions should be asked. Why only x minutes long? Did it disappear? If so why isn't it on camera? Why is there no talking about this object? Why has no one else noticed? Why hasn't this been reported by someone else etc. A few of these apply here.

People who practice animation and CGI generally will animate what they think is cool. UFO's, aliens and anomalies on earth are unfortunately among this category so that is why it is flooded with CGI. Worse still we only notice the BAD ones, there is a high probability that most if not all of the convincing UFO videos are in fact CG.

Def not a water spout

It doesn't look anything like the numerous waterspouts that I have seen.
I would sooner believe that it is CGI than a waterspout.

It depends on your definition of uncommon.

About one or 2 a year make the Orlando news from Brevard or Volusia Counties on the east coast of Florida.

Yeah, it does remind me to the ship in "The Arrival"

Ironically highly resembling the craft from 'Arrival'.
It says 'Jacksonville, Florida'. If it was from Jacksonville, it would have to be from Jacksonville Beach, as only St. Johns river is the only other water source officially in Jacksonville.

So I came across this video on Facebook showing a weird object hovering above the water off the coast of Florida. Obviously there are people claiming fake but I don't know enough about CGI to prove or disprove that notion. Thanks to Kmatty I've linked the youtube video. I must not have been using the right keywords to find the video but here it is.

Looks like the bigger alien ship from 5th element cut and pasted into a cloundy video.

Me thinks.

I'd consider a couple observed a year common. To be fair I made my comment when the OP was a picture instead of a video. The video is cgi crap.

Never seen a waterspout like that before and to me, it looks like there is a shadow underneath it, which then moves toward the camera as the thing recedes into the clouds. No idea what the orbs are or supposed to be doing.

I like how people can just dismiss this as GCI because it suits them to do so. You have to ask the question of why a hoaxer would choose this shape, why use the random and seemingly redundant orbs and why have it receding into the clouds like that? Not everybody who witnesses an unknown phenomenon goes off on a rant of swear words and exclamations of incredulity.

It could be genuine, it could be fake...we will probably never know.
