Whatever it is, I think it's a fake. I am not really interested in that. Why was it deleted so quickly though and all of them? Was it that bad? Did it go against the regulations? Was it rude?
Is it common for 4Chan to get rid of every trace just because something is a s4it post?
I mean who cares about some poxy picture? Why delete it all?
Are the deletes part of the hoax?

Yeah I find it hard to believe that nobody downloaded the image and the people who did, saved a distorted version. The whole thing reeks of trolling.

Have been on 4chan and seen things I wish I could forget. At times there is illegal stuff on there, stuff that could get your computer taken and you put in prison for a long time. And it pops up suddenly, even if you are not searching for it. Random means random. Just a warning, that if you think you have seen it all, you have not.
So I rarely go on. The rabbit holes are deeep there.
A friend alerted me to the alien pic mess while it was happening. I went on and the deletions were going at breathtaking rate. Was fun actually, to watch.

The point the 4channers make is that NOTHING is forbidden there, yet this was.

If they can't post it to 4chan without it getting deleted then why can't it be posted somewhere else instead? That's what makes me think that this is all a bunch of bull. The picture could easily be posted pretty much anywhere, even if 4chan is censoring it.

Been watching this a bit this morning, and people are still claiming "alien selfie" is just the cover story; that the real story is 9/11 planes stored at base near Roswell.

If Google image search can identify matching pics..when you insert one into goodle image search. Then it must be also able to identify pictures that are prohibited and automatically delete them from the web.. it's a no brainier.


Question is...is google actually using this capability to delete images, images it already knows exists. In other words, above top secret photographs of actual aliens etc...

Let's say, for arguments sake..that there really was this "authentic" alien pic. Once it was posted and some higher up spotted it, it would make sense that the image would be blacklisted on the entire web. It's highly probable that the alphabet agencies have the power to do this. Look at the circumstantial evidence at hand.

Can they delete it from hard drives though? Now that's an even more worrying possibility

Honestly I think it'd a complete bs troll. They do this all the time like when they said people were getting banned for saying Benjamin Fishbein or something. Ifor threads are getting tos'd over saying a name there's certainly an insider mod who is in on the troll.

Is any of this legit? I dunno. If it is then it's concerning, but not one bit surprising, because it means the intelligence agencies are using software that can automatically detect and delete images across the entire web.

im not gonna hype too much on this we all remenber the 2015 roswell photo fiasco right?

That's Clearly a fake

If someone does have the "real" one they are gonna need to do something like print it out and photograph it at different angles in order to post it..if this is true the image is clearly blacklisted on the web or it would have resurfaced all over the place

In fact they would likely need to print out thousands of copies and fly post them..can delete actual paper on walls so easily

Just find the person who posted the Picture. Aren't sites backed up continuously..particularly that one? Who owns 4channel? Ask him/her.
