I try to be polite as intent and meaning in text messages can often be misinterpreted.

I'm finding it annoying and amusing that the only interesting photo's I've found from the site mirroring some of the 4chan conversation all scream hoax at me. A couple are slightly creepy, but I'm pretty sure they're from movies or something.
One of the more interesting photo's, is someone pasting the hi-res snippets on to the claimed "real" photo - the highly pixelated one. They seem to fit, but that doesn't mean that photo's any more legit than the blatantly faked ones.
I'd like to see the claimed original photo though, but I suspect if I did, I'd be disappointed...

So far the one that is referenced as the "real" one that is to the right of the hoaxes one looks the most interesting..

It's distorted.. but the actual alien doesn't look like mitt doesn't belong with the background like the high res one and the other ones do.

Also.. props to the poster who got that extended vertical image of the left side of the photo!

How and where did you get that?

Fascinating, I can not know if this is a real image or not but it is cool nevertheless and sufficianly interesting in it's own right.
First off the image is more reminiscent of a tortoise than lizard but it is really nothing like that either.
Assume it is real?.

Though the eye's look similar and therefore suggest a similar optical mechanism to human and other earth species eye's the view is not close enough for a definitive analysis even of such a shallow measure, there is no obvious nostril area but the many pits may indicate heat sensitive pit's similar to many reptile species on earth or they could also serve as pheromone sensory pit's.
The cranial structure appears to have a seperate but very weak or recessed jaw but that is by no mean's definite and the upper lip analogue may show a vertical split as well as a more defined horizontal one which could mean the long line's or fold's leading to the pit's I associate with smell receptor's may also be either fold's related to this vertical split or even alternatively could they be auditory sensors in nature as there is no obvious ear analogue, could this creature if real have these as dedicated audio sensory receptors on the front of it's face above it's mouth (it's mouth may open on three axis, like some worm species bottom and two top side's).

Long neck but no way to compare it's size or body proportion's.
Apparent scaled skin similar to a reptile or indeed fish.
The A shaped fold between the eye's could also be it's smell receptor if this is the case, we assume that since each of our senses have one main purpose, ear's to hear, nose to smell, eye's to see that of course we tend to project this model onto other species in our attempt to analyse and understand them.

If real I would imagine it would have quite a different psychology to us, still it's face does seem to have personality though it does not look friendly just kind of serious.

Not very pretty to our eye's obviously.

If fake it is a cool mock up and very creative showing a very intelligent xeno awareness.

Yea they are interesting to be nice if we had the full hi res version instead of being lead in circles with the snippets which just lends to the feeling of use bring played.

would not be surprised if it is a publicity stunt as 4chan has been losing steam over recent years, partly because censorship contrary to what some have stated, does exist over there.

If mods do not like something, they delete all day long.

I imagine they're getting a lot of trafffic over there now.

I mean c'mon, if such a picture existed and it was being deleted, when people try to repost it, it would be reposted by now elsewhere. These days once something is on the net it never disappears completely, especially if it has been on 4chan.

All that aside, not going to discuss if a picture is real or not or even entertain the idea of it it with zero proof.
What's the point of speculating on something nobody here has seen and is based solely on hearsay, and from 4chan of all places....

I'm highly skeptical that someone couldn't have hit the "print screen" button and screen grabbed it, prior to it being deleted, or copied the image from their browser's local cache files. All in all, it seems like someone is playing a game...

Sorry, I don't know how to properly post links on here so I don't know if these are usable or not. Sulty97 on the Discord admitted to doing that fake 3D model that he has been slowly trickling out. Though he said he based it off of the description of whatever the original deleted image was, this one is a fake and he hitchhiked onto the hysteria for laughs.

The water has been so muddied now there is no finding the original.

None of us know what the original pic was. None of us can explain why so many were banned from a site that allows for all kinds of craziness to be posted. No one can explain why the picture wasn't saved or re-uploaded, or why it vanished from the hardrives. All we have at this point is speculation. Someone mentioned that ATS hasn't shut down discussion around this subject. This is true, however, it could be due to the fact that the original picture was never seen here.

Now, for basics. Do we know for certain there was an actual thread in the first place? How do we know this? Is it based on someone's claim?

Just to be clear. This is a FAKE in that it is a recreation of whatever the ORIGINAL PICTURE was. So as to not confuse people at this point, who might think the whole thing was fake from the beginning. None of us know what the original picture really looked like.
