"Real" alien pic shuts down 4chan

Lol, we both know why its nekid.

If it was wearing clothes or uniforms of any kind that would seal its hoax status.

stumbles across nekid alien in woods, instead of running away, alien poses for photo op.

I don't know what to think of this story. After researching, it's all messed up. It could be a hoax , a psyop, I do not know. But what I find weird is that this has gone viral.

It's 4chan, man... 4chan is more or less the local punk bar of the internet. When I used to frequent it from 2008-2014 I saw several instances where even the admins/mods would do trollish things. They probably are censoring this, but only to cause a sh*t hurricane and have a laugh about it.

I showed up about an hour or so after the fireworks started about the alien pic thread. Stuff was being deleted left and right. Supposedly, several people had done screen caps of the pic, one had taken a pic with his cell phone of his monitor with the hi res pic on it. All of them say the pic were gone from their devices. One of the janitors over there said the feds showed up with a warrant and removed data from their servers. This is just what was being passed around early on. Take it with a huge chunk of salt.

What has Phage had to say about all of this?

I do not believe "real alien". My opinion is that it is one of two things:

1) Testing of secret software/systems that deletes/censors "fake news".

2) Censorship of an image with embedded information.

I'm going to go with testing secret censorship software/systems. What better place to test it, than in a production image sharing environment.

My guess is keep an eye out in the next days/weeks for compromising photos being leaked of say, Trump or Melania... See how quick they disappear... Then we'll know what this was all about.

It wasn't this one was it? pbs.twimg.com... .. hope not. I've been checking this out, and it's either someone posted an alien pic, or someone posted some top secret information on a certain plane being stored at a certain hangar.... Either way, it's bloody annoying.

A quick search for x-files alien sandy will bring up that this image of an 'alien' is someone in makeup on set of the new xfiles. Hence it looking scarily real. But alas, this is the only image I've come across that resembles anything remotely better than primary school level photoshop. I want it to be real god dammit!! haha!

I dont believe it was. Then again im not sure. It was described as scaley, yellowish, large eyes that had an almost raisin look like they were shriveled. I did not see the original. It was removed quickly and then the onslaught of troll images showed up. The place is heavily surveilled . Some years ago a fed trolled the board telling them they were watching all day every day. He posted all of his credentials. All of them. The place is as close to the tor network as you can get without actually going there.

Yeah I did notice the crazy amount of bull images appearing, amid an array of disinfo. That's whats annoyed me, SOMETHING happened, something serious, an order was obtained to delete this info.. it's just what that info was exactly.

The above link states that hoaxers took advantage of a maintenance window bug which caused threads to be deleted and not archived... and that is how this whole mess evolved.

This reeks of hoax.

definitely possible. There are some strange birds over there. But then again sounds like typical damage control. If it was the real deal, we will never know. And whoever posted it is sitting in a room with his hands zip tied behind his back right now. like I said, huge chunk of salt.

I think you are using an overactive imagination there. Life isn't a sci-fi movie. People want to believe so bad that the moment something comes out that others corroborate as real, they latch onto the idea because they want it to be true so bad. I don't think that you're going to find disclosure of any kind on 4Chan. Most mysteries have a logical explanation. To say this is an exception is just hopeful thinking.

Do you honestly think someone gets paid to surf the internet and look for real alien pictures, furthermore has an all power key or button to delete whatever they want?
