Cheers, context is everything.

Maybe I was being lazy but I didn't have much of a clue what you were on about, I've partially followed recent US politics.

No links just a video... You see why I had to ask for an explanation right?

Tucker: "Yeah. Because we're supposed to have civilian control of the Intelligence Agencies..."

Brian: "That's right"

Tucker: "...and the military. Do you think that's in Jeopardy?"

Brian: /inhales breath "I think that we" /raises hand, thumb and forefinger pinched "start to head down a very dangerous road that places like Pakistan and Egypt" /hand emphasizes each country "have gone down. Where; military and intelligence officers who" /begins to shake head "are in the shadows right?" /steady gaze at Tucker "who are elected by no one. They get to decide... you know ... they put their finger" /leans back makes wide gesture with both hands "on the scale of who wins and loses in the Political world." /raises pinched thumb and fore finger "When we begin seeing this, this garbage, I think we are in deep deep trouble" /relaxes "In fact there was a tweet by a Journalist who said 'effectively the Intelligence community has declared war on President Trump, and they plan to see him die in jail.' That is scary. I don't care if you are..." /gestures to the left and to the right with both hands "... republican or democrat, independent or green," /raises one hand "It doesn't matter." /licks lip /begins to emphasize each word with hand "Intelligence Officers shouldn't be in the business of " /waves the dismissive hand "uh .. doing this kind of hinky stuff."

Tucker: "No. And it's been a concern for 70 years. Since the OSS and CIA started. The idea that the President would get either" /talks with both hands polishing the crystal ball and drawing out in different directions "get information that was tailored to force a certain conclusion, or that he wouldn't get the entire picture from ... " /leans back one hand still in the air /seems to deflate 1 degree "...his Intel agencies." /recovers "Are there mechanisms in place" /brings both hands gesturing together "within the CIA to prevent that from happening?"

- Tucker Carlson
- Live on National TV
    "Boy. You've just confirmed
    a lot of conspiracy theories
going back .. an awful long time that
the C.I.A. is not fully under the control of the Presidents"

Just a tip for the future.

Your claim would have more credibility if you included, in addition to the info you have already included, the TV channel and the date and Tucker Carlsons role at that TV station.

Not everyone knows who Tucker Carlson is. I can appreciate that for Americians, America is the center of the universe but people on this forum also come from other countries. There are many on this forum who have been searching for evidence like this to shove in peoples faces for years.

Where I come from 99.9999999999999999% of people are going to say; hay; who the xyz is Tucker Carlson anyway?

get the ideea? keep up the good work.

Tucker: "Are there mechanisms in place, within CIA, to prevent that from happening?"

Brian: "Well, yu, yu, yes." /catches breath "bu, but, The Frustration ..." /hand gestures 7.6 on the richter scale "... that I see is ... listen, The department of Justice and Congress, they have the ability. In fact the Authorization. To look into these counter-espionage concerns. And I think that those, those, are real. Between President Trump, some of the folks in his entourage, and the Russian government. That should be investigated, that is being investigated."

Tucker: "Right."

Brian: "But that ought not be what the spies get involved in. That can't be what we do. But yes. Within the CIA, within the Department of Justice, and certainly Congress, the oversight committees that's their job. It is not the Job of the spies to figure out who wins and looses politically."

Tucker: "Well of course not. and the CIA EXISTS SO THEY CAN GIVE THE INTELLIGENCE TO THE PRESIDENT so he can make the decision."

Brian: "Right."

Tucker: "So. For those of us following at home. Where do you think the fault lines are going to be. What are the policies Trump is espousing that a lot of the people at the CIA disagree with where they might try to ham-string him."

Brian: "Well I think, uh, two things; if I may. When he went to the the CIA, one of his first days in office, you know, he stood in front of The Wall; and he was very, almost campaign like in how he handled that, that, . . . uh . . . interaction. I think that was a mistake. And I think that that fell on very very hard ears within the Agency. I think a lot of people got pretty upset with him for doing that. So. I think that as the President becomes, uh, more Presidential. If I may be so blunt."

Tucker: "Yeah."

Brian: "I think the Intelligence community will start to respect him more."

Tucker: "They just don't like his style."

Brian: "I, I think thats a part of it. Right, but the other piece is that when he rejected the Intelligence communities' assessment that the Russians were involved in trying to throw the election..."

Tucker: "Right?"

Brian: "...that was very difficult and frustrating to hear then President-Elect, or Candidate Trump say that that wasn't ...uh... true. So. If the President can get past some of those pieces. And be frank and say 'Listen. I don't care what the Russians thought that they were going to get from me, they are not going to, because I answer only to the American People. That kind of spirit will absolutely get the spies on his side. And to a greater degree. But at the end of the day the vast majority of American spies do their job and they do precisely what they signed up for. What their oath calls them to do. Which is be faithful to the Constitution. And be faithful to the President of the United States."

Tucker: "Boy."

Tucker: "You've just confirmed a lot of conspiracy theories. Going back an awful long time. That the CIA is not fully under the control of the Presidents. It's upsetting."

Tucker: "Very quickly what would you say the political breakdown is within the building."

Brian: "It's pretty split. But I have to say. You know when we walk in we're not republicans or democrats. We're not christians or muslims. "

Tucker: "Right. But you've worked there a long time."

Brian: "Yeah. I'd say 50 / 50. It really is a fair split. Maybe a bit more conservative. Even for those of us who are democrats. Uh. But, the bottom line is that it is a very diverse place. Politically speaking."

Tucker: "Yes."

Brian: "Yeah."

Tucker: "Interesting. Brian that was, that was really interesting. Troubling. Thank you."

Brian: "Thank you."

The main thesis I got from the interview is that the deep state feels that if President Trump would just listen to the American People, the deep state will start liking him. A little bit more.

I guess their ability to listen to his Inauguration speech is impaired. Where he specifically emphasized putting America First.

They feel that they are the real America, and We The People who elected him are not. When they say listen to the American People they mean listen to us - the deep state.

The deep state. The custodians and purveyors of the Secret Court. The most Un-American thing in the history of America. Are convinced that they are America.

It far worse than anything I could have imagined.

Does that mean the CIA is a rogue entity?

Do wonder what would happen if the whole dept was scrapped, and all arrested..

Hmm....

If they did that, the severe shortage of hard drugs in the US would cause a riot.

The second coming is human evolution
People with superhuman abilities that thwart limitation.
Anybody thinking that any group of people knowledgeable of this concept wouldn't take proper means to control and hopefully direct this prospect would be ignorant.
Hence everything you're seeing set up
.
Personally I would be disappointed if I didn't see such elaborate endeavors persued.

This is the apex of our experience occurring.
This president is the last gasp state straw man..
The last president (if you could call him that)
I kind of wish I worked for CIA at this point.
The majority of ignorance lacking esoteric wisdom engaging in deep vision overall is saddening to me when looking to an audience such as this.

First of all, it is absolutely necessary to understand that regardless of what the CIA are, or are not thinking, the FACT is that Trump does NOT represent the majority of Americans, and that is proven quite simply, by the fact that he did not win the majority vote. It is not something to argue over, discuss, debate. The simple fact of the matter is that less people voted Trump, than voted for the OTHER of the two appalling, morally retarded options. So, when Trump pulls a plan out of his rear which frankly appeals to only the right wing, he is NOT listening to the majority opinion, but the MINORITY opinion, and not being a president for ALL Americans, just some Americans. This is also not a debatable point, because the numbers speak for themselves.

HOWEVER, as much as I believe that Trump is filth, and by God do I believe it, I also believe that the CIA should consider its position carefully. I believe that it ought to be allowed to release information if it discovers wrongdoing or shadiness on the part of the administration, because as I have stated before, secrets must be kept ONLY for reasons of national security, not to permit a smokescreen to be placed between the people and the activities of its political leaders. But it must be circumspect and reasonable in its approach, and also it must be, where it would not do harm to the people, under the control of the administration.

It is his supporters whose perceptions are impaired. Donald Trump's approach to government is unconstitutional. "America first" is a slogan. The 'deep state" is right to mistrust him. He is placing bankers in charge of regulating the banking industry, guaranteeing another financial crisis. He is placing a mouthpiece for polluters in charge of the EPA, endangering your health. He has espoused anti-vaccination views that can create the conditions for a new lethal pandemic. He has embraced conspiracy theories that can lead to war. I hope that the elected branch of government acts before it is too late, but if it falls on the "deep state," so be it.
