Extremely ironic story here about Ivanka Trump and one of her business products.

After a bunch of hit pieces and boycotts, it looks like her perfume is all-of-a-sudden a number 1 seller.

It's selling bigly on Amazon of all places !!

Conspiracy:

Jeff Bezos is heavily involved with Amazon and the Washington Post (WP bashed Ivanka bigly).

What IF he had a plan all along ?

Hmmm.

Ivanka Trump’s Perfume Soars to No.1 Bestseller on Amazon Despite Boycotts

Ivanka Trump’s signature perfume is a best seller on retail giant Amazon.

Ivanka Trump Eau de Parfum Spray For Women ($34 for a 3.4-ounce bottle) was No. 1 on Amazon’s list of bestselling fragrances and perfume for at least the sixth consecutive day. One reviewer wrote: “I normally buy this at Nordstrom. But now that I heard they will not carry it anymore, I was happy to find it on Amazon.” (Radha Beauty Aromatherapy was at No. 2 on Amazon’s list.) The recent success of Ivanka Trump’s perfume on Amazon, particularly after her products were dropped from other stores, suggests the “resistance economy” to boycott products associated with the family of President Trump can help a brand as well as hurt it.

Yes but it is the only product of hers that is making any significant money. Most major retailers have moved her products to the clearance bin due to gradually declined sales. So I guess her perfume must actually smell really good to be so popular people still buy it.

Yesterday this was on Drudge and I went to Amazon to check. Sure enough it was a Best seller and about half the reviews were 1 stars. Except NONE OF THEM were verified purchases. Amazingly, all the verified purchase reviews liked her perfume. Stupid liberals voting down her product with fake reviews.

I'm buying that for myself next week. This week I had to buy new shoes but next week the stuff is mine. Screw Nordstroms.

My tin foil hat gets a lotta use but in this case I'd have to say no conspiracy. Cool theory though.

With retail, the harder it is to find a name brand item, the more popular in becomes.

I see this similar to book sales. Likely bought up by the Donald himself to help the brand out in a public way.

Then there is this

canada free press

While Nordstrom has claimed that the brand has not been doing well, reality says otherwise when it comes to overall sales. According to G3’s 2016 annual statement, ticker $GIII, the manufacturer and distributor of Ivanka’s clothing line, the brand is doing quite well—enjoying a $29.4m bump in sales to $100m.

Notice this is overall sales not just Nordstrom's as far as I can tell

Nordstrom says its decision was based on performance, but a spokesman for Ivanka’s fashion line tells Axios the retailer ordered both shoes and apparel for spring 2017, and only canceled the former. Moreover, the brand claims year-over-year revenue growth in 2016, and Nordstrom’s co-president reportedly wrote an internal memo last November that referred to Ivanka Trump’s wares as “a sizable and successful business.”

Someone speaks with a forked tongue. Only shoes cancelled, not clothing.

I quite like her classic line and while expensive for me, I have certainly spent 200 plus for a dress/outfit. Really is reasonable for a professional person.

If it offends liberals, I might start spraying it on myself.

Or because of the boycotts. Even bad press is good advertising.

I am pretty sure you are completely wrong about this, I have read actual sales figures about her line of stuff and sales are increasing nationwide. You may be listening to the delusional far left too much, they are twisting everything they can.

Liberal repellent. I bet that would be a killer sales pitch.

I've honestly considered buying some. I mean, after Trump get's impeached, a bottle of presidential-era perfume will be worth tons.

I'd much rather have the scent Cudaghi with mustard and onions myself. After a while the multiple stains give a nice texture to your shirt.

Yeah, I'm starting to learn when a bunch of liberals come out strong against something, it's an investment opportunity. This is not a joke. It took me a few examples to catch on, but I finally figured out when Obama or Hillary talked about guns, gun stocks would bump up. Hillary usually got bigger bumps than Obama, probably because even years ago, idiots assumed she would be the next President. So I started following Obama and Hillary comments and three different times was able to buy and then sell a little later for a profit. Thanks for dollars, suckers. You bet your butt I am not buying those stocks now. Instead buying DOW following stocks thanks to the Trump Bump.

So some nobodies perfume is selling good and this is news? By next Christmas it should be a real good seller that leaves his followers plenty of time to save up the money for it.
