Milo Yiannopoulos Resigns From Breitbart News After Pedophilia Comments

Mr. Yiannopoulos’s resignation followed days of tumult that intensified over the weekend after a conservative group called the Reagan Battalion revealed a video that showed him condoning sexual relations between men and boys as young as 13 and jokingly dismissing the gravity of pedophilia by Roman Catholic priests.

On Monday, the organizers of the Conservative Political Action Conference revoked their invitation for Mr. Yiannopoulos to speak this week, and the publisher Simon & Schuster also said it was canceling the publication of his book, “Dangerous.”

I always found Milo to be a troll. Never took him seriously so never paid much attention to what he had to say. His recent comments however disturbed the hell out of me. I loved the fact he tried to walk back on it in his Facebook post, too little too late though. No it's not 'ok' to have sex with consenting children since they don't have the capacity to consent in the first place. How hard is this to understand? How many Pizzagaters were defending this guy? Oh the hypocrisy.

I've listened to the guy a few times to hear his ideas. It just reminded me that youth is over enthusiastic.

One of the things I "think" I am slowly learning by posting on ATS is to keep parts of myself in reserve and try to back up to see the bigger picture. If you get overly involved in your passionate beliefs you go places you cannot come back from.

Regarding the pedophilia stuff. I think it is a far larger problem than we suspect and what comes out in the news is only the tip of the iceberg. Not my thing just like I don't care to see another dude naked. But the way society is going it and the seeming occult driving the deep state it could become an acceptable norm at some point.

Being gay used to be unacceptable. Pornography on TV was not acceptable not long ago. Watch out, before long sister on sister gay TV sex will be old hat.

This was a coordinated attack by the deep state, their establishment media and their useful idiots in online social media.

They made this attack too obvious and it will backfire in the long run.

I'd never heard the name until last night, when CNN had a segment stating that MILO is the "new voice and face" of Conservatives.. and how bad it was for Conservatives to de-evolve from REAGAN to MILO.

I used to like Milo as a provocateur. With info like this I have nothing but revulsion for the man. Just as I would have for anyone else making such statements.

I don't see how this has anything to do with PG, however I'm sure the same ones saying "faux news" "impossible" and "never happened" about PG are now on the offensive over Milo.

Perhaps you should put a little bit of context on to your statement, like the part they conveniently edited out where he said that the legal age of consent is right.

He talked about his experience as a teenager dating older men, and admitted that it was shameful and expressed his distaste for it. Somehow the media spins this as him endorsing pedophilia when in reality...

It seems like the media is playing the long game here. Maybe an effort to bolster the left again for the next few election cycles. It's becoming absurd the amount of stories trending day in and day out ridiculing not only the POTUS, but now everyone who has conservative or Republican views.

It's okay to be conservative or to be liberal, but we need to be careful who we listen to. If your conservative and listen to Milo, you're being brainwashed with his lunacy,, just as with Limbaugh and Hannity and O'Reilly. Same thing if you're liberal and say, you listen to Bill Maher religiously...his ideas and the way he speaks as if he's an authority on liberal subjects is going to influence you wether you want him to or not.

It's really hard to find a credible liberal or conservative pundit these days. I'd say almost impossible, It does seem like Chris Wallace is the real deal. but ...really the only option is to turn off the news and stop listening to all the guys giving rants on facebook these days...they're all just as bad as one another.

We make the mistake of thinking that a pundit tells us he's conservative so we believe everything he tells us or a pundit says he's liberal and we believe everything he tells us never looking at the agenda he's putting forth or how wacky and criminal and crazy he is in reality.
