I've had many seemingly borderline mean post deleted. I've always thought I was being reported. It's usually against the same few people. No biggie just a little vindication for myself and a pre-caution for when I engage with them in the future.

It could be the person who you replied to, a lurker who reads the threads you do or a Mod. Trying to guess often leads people to the wrong conclusions in regard to that.

If you have a good relationship with any of the mods you can just PM them a link to the post/thread in question.

I met a lady mod in a bar once. I wouldn't exactly call it a relationship but....well you know.

I am saying that aving a lot of staff alerts that you send in is exactly the way this whole thing works. Its what staff has said time and again: we can't/don't see everything, so report what you see.

Its "user generated content", afterall.
