If you were read what his actual claims were, you would see why what he said does not mean anything, it was a strawman argument.

The tests were far outside his area of expertise,
Your "opinion".
and his misrepresentations in the letter got him fired from UL.
Care to prove your accusation?
Of course the tests were outside of his area of expertise, the dude has a degree in chemistry and he tested was responsible for the water quality lab.

You have given "no evidence" that Ryan is incompetent in given his "opinion".
Yet you push your opinions as some kind of fact, perhaps those are your facts, they certainly are not mine.
I said the testing was outside his area of expertise.

I said the testing was outside his area of expertise.
So essentially you are claiming Ryan is incompetent to voice his "opinion"
You tell me, you truthers brought him up to make some point. I know you guys don't like being presented with evidence that challenges your narrative, quite the blow to the ego to see how wrong you actually are. Doubt you even know what Ryan's original assertions even were, just knew he worked for Underwriters and got canned, ohh, smoking gun!
So what has Ryan got to do with the Pentagon or the OP?

Waterboy had no expertise in metallurgical testing, he shouldn't have used official Underwriter channels to start spouting off what he knew nothing about, got his ass fired for that, what an idiot.
“Kevin Ryan: Through his work at Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Ryan began to investigate the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. He was fired by UL, in 2004, for publicly asking questions about the WTC investigation being conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ryan has served as co-editor of the Journal of 9/11 Studies, and a member and/or director of a number of 9/11 truth groups. Additionally, Ryan has co-authored several books and peer-reviewed scientific articles on the subject.”

You need to take a time out, and read ATS TC. Name calling on member is forbidding. Have some manners when addressing members on ATS.
How am I being dishonest about Waterboy? Dude was an idiot and got himself fired. Questioning is fine, but don't start using your company email and credentials, just plain dumb.
You have called me out as being dishonest among other things, yet you have no problems being dishonest about Kevin Ryan. Shame on you.
Thanks for your efforts to determine what happened on that day. You may know that there are a number of other current and former government employees that have risked a great deal to help us to know the truth. I've copied one of these people on this message as a sign of respect and support. I believe your work could also be a nucleus of fact around which the truth, and thereby global peace and justice, can grow again. Please do what you can to quickly eliminate the confusion regarding the ability of jet fuel fires to soften or melt structural steel.

Like I said, it's the last paragraph of the email that got Waterboy canned.

And this information come from where? Where is your source?
Not posting your sources makes your information not acceptable and perhaps fraudulent.
Like I said, it's the last paragraph of the email that got Waterboy canned.
Ryan forwarded his email to truth campaigner David Ray Griffin, who obtained permission to publish it on septembereleventh.org. A few days after the email appeared on the site Ryan was fired from Underwriters. The reason given by the company for letting him go was that he “expressed his own opinions as though they were institutional opinions and beliefs of UL.”
Underwriters Laboratories denied that it ever certified the steel in the World Trade Center buildings and said Ryan wrote the letter "without UL's knowledge or authorization."
"UL does not certify structural steel, such as the beams, columns and trusses used in World Trade Center," said Paul M. Baker, a spokesman for the Northbrook, Ill.-based company.
Ryan was fired, Baker said, because he "expressed his own opinions as though they were institutional opinions and beliefs of UL."

I guess that is why your friend didn't post a credible source to his BS.
Now look who is being deceptive, and intellectually dishonest here.
