You don't realize just how small the actual engine really is until you see the cowling open.

This is the CFM56 used on the KC-135. It looks pretty big, especially up close.



But once you get under the cowling, you have this.



That smaller section is what provides all the power. Much of the air that goes through the fan section at the front doesn't ever go through the engine.

You know what they say about big things coming in small packages! It should lay to rest (and that handy page link posted by D8Tee) further claims the engines are too small.

Currently now going on a sorta related trek thanks to my interest being piqued again - this time found a totalled photocopier. Possibly the only thing that deserved to be destroyed that day.

I kindly have to disagree with you, that the part is a match. The fact is no serial numbers were ever recorded to ever support that fact. Also noted the head of the FBI made a public statement that there was no investigation into any of the alleged four plane crashes. I am assuming that was your opinion.

I will tell yeah, I do not read anything on any government website that tells a story. The government will follow a narratives weather it is true or not. I lost my faith in anything the government really says, after listening to all the lies that got us into so many wars.

After many years of research into 911 and watching in horror of the properganda media attacking good people for asking questions, I realized the government controlled the media, the government bull dogs so to speak. A good way to shut people up and by ridiculing everyone who dared stand up and ask questions.

Just because a group of people say something happened it doesnt always mean they are telling the truth, no matter who they are.

I was raised to question authority, one has to, to hold them accountable. If the answers are met with silence which most 911 question are then someone is hiding something.

A parent know this when raising a child, it's just a simple fact.

I see where you are coming from and I believe it is important to question everything.

RE: FBI though - In the footage of the aftermath you could see countless agencies running about together at the different sites. It's improbable that all those people including general dogsbodies were in on a conspiracy.

Most all information has some kind of slant on it, it's the readers job to look past that.

The question you're not asking, is what is the slant information? If there was a grand conspiracy to mislead the public about an event, how would one do it, when so many people are involved you might say?

It is a well known military strategy that has been used for thousands of years, do you know what it is?

When you have a great number of people involved in an event, most of them are not in the need to know. So some people say you cannot have a grand conspiracy with hundreds of people around an event because someone will blow the whistle.

Not so fast, most people around the Pentagon were not informed of most things, "only on a need to know basis", and that is how our military operates. There are safeguard reason for this.

The fact is no one knows what the right hand is doing, while the left hand is busy doing something else.

I have read the 911 Commission report and have debated on it for many years on ATS.

The 911 Commission Report is a complete whitewash that exonerate the government of any wrong doing, any fifth grader will tell you that.

Most people know, who have read the 911 Commission Report know it is a complete waste of time. According to the Jersey Girls, it was a great disappointment and never answered any of their questions.

If this is the kind of information that you find "so credibal" in defending the OS, then let's just go our separate ways right now.

Really? This is from the executive summary. It is quite damning.
I'm more interested in the science behind the events than the politics leading up to it.

I stand clear on my above statement.

What my mind cannot accept is how this allegedly new mastermind "Zacarias Moussaoui" was able to take over the controls of every security breach in place in the most technology secure Nation on this planet, for over an hour, while alleged hijackers where able to fly four commercial airlines off their given flight course without a hitch for the very first time in American history. This alone is absulutly mind boggling!

All the American people got for answers was excuses. The only way any terrorist could ever pull off such a stunt, is very powerful people in the right places had to helped them. This could NEVER be pulled off by any alleged 19 hijackers and one master mind, it is impossible, not only is it in possible it defies logic on a grand scale. Seriously I believe people are drinking to much of mainstream properganda Kool Aid.

Ok? But the topic it a large jet stuck the pentagon. You say you are here for honest debate, but ignore ever bit of evidence, questions aimed at you, you cannot prove proof of your straw man argument people here trust/believe the government 100 percent, you are mistaken about posts you claim you never made, sources other than the government cited a large jet hit the pentagon, and purposely change subjects when asked what caused the damage at the pentagon.

Ever going to list who is lying out of the hundred plus eyewitnesses the give an account of a large jet hitting the pentagon? Ever going to provide proof? To make accusations of individuals lying with no proof is slanderous.

Is it false to say at Moussaoui's trial, individuals testified that flight 77 strike the pentagon and attributed the damage to flight 77.

Isn't all your evidence pasted on here say.
