Here's to a new shed.

Howdy, all. Sorry if you said something to me and I didn't comment. I haven't been getting on long. By the time I come on there are pages and pages.

The job is great. People actually say "thank you" there and they mean it. Monday they gave us a package of cookies and a box of bagels. Tuesday there were chocolate chip muffins. Wednesday there were bags of candy waiting for us. There were cards with the different candies. They had cute puns on them. Today we had donuts. The principal made an announcement over the PA and acknowledged the hard work the maintenance staff does. He said that without us their lives would be far from pleasant. It's really nice to feel appreciated with a job. With my other ones I was little more than a piece of furniture.

How wonderful for you Skid! Must have been all our prayers and good vibes and magical pixie dust that helped you find that job. My last place of employment was great too. They actually wanted our opinions and treated us well. Nice to see you Hun!

Hi Dave! Have the snow faeries arrived yet? I sent them a while ago. I think they might have gotten lost.

Hey! I am home, safe and sore. Shred's aunt (pictured with me by Discovery sign) invited me to go snowshoeing with "The Ladies of The Night". Its a group of moms from my son's school who go hiking, snowshoeing, camping, all sorts of outdoor activities! I was nervous to go at first but super glad I did and will definitely be going again!


How is everyones night going? Sorry its been so long to stop in!

Hi Mom!!

It's going pretty well here in the hills and "hollers" of West Virginia and it's somewhat been quiet for a Friday night. Sitting here listening to some Nitty Gritty Dirt Band myself. Chris Robin and myself were walking under branches lit up by the moon while asking an owl and a donkey about the meaning of life.

MamaShred, I had no idea snowshoeing was actually a thing out there.

Snow faeries well when I was you I sometimes saw dwarfs and elves but that was a long time ago and I think there far from this reality now also used to watch the cloud nymphs as well,I still see faces in trees and things but much is gone now

Yeah, Mama goes out with the "Ladies of the Night" and it's cool...
But, when I do it...... no hang on... LOL

Hi Mama, I LOVE the idea of the snowshoe night walk!
My wife runs a Forest School which I sometimes help out with, and (on occasion) she hosts a "Wild Woman" night in the woods!! (It's just camp-fires, hammocks, marshmallows, hot chocolate and making woodland crafts but when she puts up the promotional poster it always makes me smile!)


PS - I'm not allowed to go to those ones!!
