Donuts for Jacy mind you and make extra because "some one" always sneaks in and snatches them right off the batch.

Sorry to say I have no clue what you are referring to but I will get my broom out and look it up.

Should an autograph be hand written on paper? Or can I just print out your avatar and swear we hung out on-line in The Shed. I could claim I have proof because it rained on the exact day I asked you to help with our lack of water. I can create a file. That is plausible, isn't it?

Hello Sweetheart! I'm ok. Just want to get tomorrow over with. Hoping my results are ok. I already know I have an adrenal mass, but hope it isn't anything bad enough that would require surgery. I'm like a frightened child and can't help it. Watching a movie and trying to stay calm. Talking to our owl. lol

Chrissie had some Forest School classes on this week and decided to introduce the kids & their families to making bread on a stick (rather than toasting marshmallows) over the fire.
We were worried that the kids wouldn't like it as much... but BOY were we wrong!!!
EVERYBODY LOVED IT!!!

Just make your favourite simple bread dough and break off a (table-tennis or golf-ball sized) chunk big enough to mould around the end of a toasting stick!
You can either mould it straight onto the stick with your hand or "twirl" it into a loooong snake and coil it tightly around the stick.
Make sure that the dough isn't any thicker than about 1/2cm (1/4") on the stick.
Then hold (or prop) the stick so that it gets roasted by the heat of the fire...
Turn it often!!! for an even bake.
After a little while the smell is unbelievable and in about 10 or 12 minutes (give it a light tap with your finger to check whether it's baked - it should feel firm and sound "hollow") you should have a Super-Yummy freshly baked hot bread stick to enjoy!
Experiment!!! Add seeds or herbs... try different bread mixes... I've yet to try one that didn't work and taste amazing!
It must be the camp-fire???? The smoke??? the fresh air???

Anyway - if you get the chance... TRY IT!

We're off to mysterious Island this weekend (leaving soon) so I might not be online.
I recently discovered that I like Gin. (For years I hated the stuff... until I found out that it wasn't the Gin I didn't like... it was the Tonic mixer that most people here put in it!!!)
Some flavoured Gins are good too and I'm going to be creating some new ones by dissolving boiled sweets (candies) in the gin! It's great fun playing with all the flavours and you get a drink at the end of it!!! LOL

I'll be on and off for the next hour or two... then away for a few days.

Well although the concept is indeed pretty cool, so far most of us (including me) are just members. They have a forum there so that members can talk with each other. I don't have any elevated position yet, just a volunteer, nothing more.
