Hi Night! Whew, you're just in time to save me from Gordi (he wants me to post something nerdy)!

Anyway, she bought me lunch and I had two black Russians and felt better after that.

I'm not too sure what "black Russians" are, but I'm glad they made you feel better.

The thing in the adrenal gland is probably nothing. Probably just a knot or something absolutely silly.

I am tipsy.
Chrissie & the boys are away.
They have been away all week.

I stayed home to work, while they are off on holiday because we don't have much money right now.

Tonight I made a slow roast pork & chicken curry (with leftovers from during the week).
I trimmed the edges of the lawn. Put fresh sheets, covers & pillowcases on the beds.
Actually scrubbed some of the kitchen units near the cooker because I noticed they were getting grubby.
I popped out to collect some money I was owed from a van sign-writing job that I'd done.
And I opened my Whisky, to celebrate your good news about your job.

Thanks everyone for your support, it means so much to me!! It was a rough day and I am very tired and drained, but glad to be back home at the Shed with you all.

Reminds me of this "dark blood" idea I have in mind - a substance that could take any shape, and toggle between liquid & solid phase.

The name is a reference to a similar substance in the anime Soul Eater.

Oh You silly big oaf.
You have no need to justify your self. My female seventh sense just told me you were on "sabbatical".
The flowers and then the mellow drinking tipped me off. You miss the family so you get all soft and sentimental.

Hey Crappie, how you doing "up nord", got snow yesterday aye?
You have been there long enough to sound like a migrant "yupper".
I am phonetically inclined so I can easily imitate any accent. My normal is a boring east coast broadcaster intonation.

Have you seen any fawns yet? "My lake" is at the highest level it has been in twenty years and that on top of it almost drying out last year. The geese, cranes, wood ducks redwings are back. The wood frogs are quaking like crazy. I really admire those buggers, they survive by almost freezing solid over winter.
