As per the lateest TIME magazine article.

Short answer ?

No.

Long term, of course they do,

Once upon a time we had a black President and all social programs were priority, he had his agenda and be damned our US foreign policy, Now, we have an American President focused on Americans. How sad.

I dislike our new President, I truly do. The one and only thing I liked about his campaign stance is his overly North American position on China. Good for him/us. I see nothing wrong with us/him as a North American pushing for more jobs for North Americans. All other Bull# he spews I'm on the record as cailing him out on.

Do they matter you ask? No. But they cry and get violent when they don't get their way.

Of course. Once Trump is done with his mission of turning the republican party into a caricature of itself, that's all you'll have left.

RINO's and lefties hate him. His supporters are a wide array of diverse people, not just Conservatives. I think that's why the left hates him as much as they do. Those are supposed to be their people. I can remember liberals telling me, in heated debates, that the Republicans will never win again until they reach out to minorities and then when Trump started reaching out to minorities, the liberals came unhinged. It was great.

Of course they do.

Who else is going to stand up against some of these insane un-American policies?

But I agree with you in that my favorite aspect of Trump has always been his "America-first" approach. I just don't believe him when he says it. His "America-first" is really "Me-first, then all my rich friends... then America".

Do the Democrats matter ?

They are going to regret going nuclear so to speak.

They may think they have the upper hand at the moment, but American Politics is going to get a whole lot nastier.

I don't hate Trump.

But at this moment.

I HATE the ever living hell out of the Democratic Party.

The only thing that matters to them is their own power, and they don't give a ratts snip how many people they gut along they way.

Power at any cost.

Any effective democratic country needs a effective opposition to hold the government to account and right now the democrats are failing in that simple duty.

They are acting like they still run the country. They dont, they need to accept they lost that job. They need to start doing there new job and that is being a opposition party.

They don't matter that much right now because a large portion of the electorate simply does not care about the issues that Democrats have put front and center. When a blue collar guy has lost his job, he doesn't give a rats azz about LBGTQ issues, diversity, or any of the other identity politics that Democrats have hung their hat on.

Does he care about unions being able to function so that workers get paid adequately? What about jobs? Does he care about jobs in unskilled labor, skilled trades, engineering, and manufacturing facilities?

Does he care about clean water and air?

Does he care about whether his kid knows how to read or do math?

Trump won because he had a message that attracted blue collar voters that the Democrats have ignored in place of identity groups. Remember, it is Trump who wants to Make America Great Again by protecting our manufacturing base while the Democrats are for globalism and importing cheap unskilled labor that drives down wages.

Conservatives care about clean water and air. However, we also want to keep the EPA in check from terrorizing homeowners and businesses with inane regulations and unchecked power.

Conservatives care about education and have been trying to hold teachers unions and public schools accountable.

I am pretty sure it belongs here since they are actively colluding(conspiratorial angle) behind the scenes.

With the sole purpose of making themselves relevant.

As per the question asked. Do the Democrats matter?

Democrats dominance in government is entirely dependent on their ability to influence and control public opinion.

Republican dominance is dependent on democrats losing their ability to influence and control public opinion.

It's really that simple.

Cowardly answer, as per expectations.

Does your pal care about those things?

They are real things. They are actual concerns. And no one cares how much you HATE HATE HATE....how yawny and repetitive can you possibly get? Really, I wonder just how much control you have over how horrible you allow yourself to get.

Does he care about the rights of American workers to earn a decent wage? Aka UNIONS?
Do his kith and kin care about whether the air they breathe is clean? Or the water they drink is poisonous? (Because, lest you forget in your blind rage: lead poisoning....)

Is there any concern about how a child or grandchild might fare in the world where they need to be able to read and write?

Jezuss....you and your blind hatred and never-ending malevolence are truly part of the problem. Whether you want to admit it, or even recognize it, or not.

You say you 'HATE HATE HATE', but your posts aren't driven by 'emotion'? LOL!! Give us a break, neo.

and to Edumakated:

Trump did NOT WIN the majority of votes.

Remember that there are factories rotting and that now you all voted to eliminate public education. Remember that with even FEWER requirements now for companies to hire Americans, or to pay taxes, that you will NEVER get back your union-supported job.

If you truly believe these asinine policies are going to benefit you, I have news: You are hopelessly delusional and/or brainwashed.

You have been warned. You've also been measured, and reviewed. And you have been found wanting.....
