In the final hours before his resignation, now-former White House National Security Adviser Michael T. Flynn said he “crossed no lines” in his discussion with Russia’s ambassador, but ultimately he was most concerned about the steady stream of leaks to reporters based on classified information.
“In some of these cases, you’re talking about stuff that’s taken off of a classified system and given to a reporter. That’s a crime,” Flynn told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group during a telephone interview from his White House office on Monday.
“You call them leaks. It’s a criminal act. This is a crime. It’s not just a wink and a nod,” Flynn said.

"Don't pay attention to the information that was leaked, let's focus on the fact it was leaked at all and who might have done it."
That sounds incredibly familiar, who else has said something similar in the last couple of months?
Flynn is a registered Democrat, having grown up in a "very strong Democratic family".[70

It was an issue, that's why he was asked to resign. Did you watch the WH press conference today?
He wasn't fired because he did anything illegal, he was fired because the lie to Pence caused trust issues.
Flynn resigned late Monday after revelations that he had discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador a month before Donald Trump became president. Sources told The Washington Post that in January, then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates had warned the Trump administration about possible Russian blackmail and suspected that Flynn misled officials, including Vice President Mike Pence, about his contact with Russia. But on Tuesday, Conway, who had claimed just hours before his resignation that the White House had “full confidence” in Flynn, repeatedly could not say why the administration waited to act.
But the fact is, General Flynn continued in that position and was in the presidential daily briefings, as part of the leader calls, as recently as yesterday,” Conway said. Host Matt Lauer was incredulous. “Kellyanne, that makes no sense,” he said. “Last month, the Justice Department warned the White House that General Flynn had misled them and that, as a result, he was vulnerable to blackmail and at that moment he still had the complete trust of the president?”
On ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Conway similarly had no answers on the timeline of events and instead tried to push back on The Washington Post’s report. “These are what are in printed reports, but the fact is that I can’t reveal what the White House knew or didn’t know and who in the White House knew or didn’t know,” she said.

Is he innocent because he was team Trump or is he guilty because he's a Democrat?

Now resigned national security advisor Michael Flynn says the "real" problem is the "leak" not the content.
Flynn say the leaded transcript of his phone call with a Russian diplomat is a crime.
He is maintaining he crossed no lines by talking to the Russians, and he does not know where the leaks came from.
