Ivanka is a wonderful person from what I can tell, screw Nordstrom and their customers if theyre so thin skinned. Her line is beautiful.

And yet, you have not bought any of her products. Shame.

Perhaps, her line is beautiful, but people want utility today.

They should doubling down in defense of Ivanka's clothing line and everything else. America is back and the liberals are just going to have to deal with it.. The Clinton Foundation scandal was/is still the big issue under the rug but it will soon be swept out.. MAGA

You are aware, right, that Ivanka's clothing line is made in China, right? Her shoes are currently made in China but her factory is moving to Ethiopia.

So... you're Not for the 'buy American'? Or do you want that modified to 'buy whatever America imports?' which are two different things.

5 pages in and all I have gathered from this thread is...
Capitalism bad!!!
Followed by some high pitched squealing noise.

That's basically all this is.
The underlying hate liberals have for capitalism and the free market. The little whats left of it anyway. Just no one here is screaming it...
Yet.

Oh and if I hear the "made in America argument" one more time I'll go all liberal right here I swear...
Catch the closest trash receptacle on fire and ****.

The reason nothing is made in America anymore is because the trade deals NAFTA and GATT outsourced everything to nations with lax pollution regulations. Those trade deals were established under the Clinton administration. So whenever you try and criticize where a stupid hat is made. Stop and think perhaps it's whats written on the damn hat itself that's truly important. Unless you enjoy having your ex-peers making fun of you. Then by all means keep making empty worthless arguments.

There are no American companies that make clothing? Hats?
Oh my. I did not know that.

No. It's actually about how Conway broke the law.

(Cue: "Oh yeah? Well ... Clinton!")

Move over Kardashians, we have a new family reality tv called Trump Dynasty.. Buy everything Trump, doesn't matter even if it is made in China.

I can't believe people are even supporting this guy who called Ivanka a 'piece of ass' in another wonderful reality tv show called Howard Stern. This guy will sell his own daughter if he can get an ego boost/rating/few bucks.

How is that the message you're getting. Ivanka's line stopped selling. As a result it got dropped. That is literally capitalism in action.

If anyone is calling capitalism bad it's Trump and troupe of flying monkeys.

You're the type of person Trump was referring to when he said he could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and his supporters would defend him aren't you?

Are you projecting again? Try a different platform to get your point across because what you just typed raises it's own ethical questions.

There was no intent to do harm. The intent was to benefit a specific private business that belongs to POTUS' daughter.

FInancial harm against the US polocies. is that good enough?

No.

§ 2635.702 Use of public office for private gain.

An employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity, including nonprofit organizations of which the employee is an officer or member, and persons with whom the employee has or seeks employment or business relations.

She needs to be fired! IMO

OK. Lets break this down. Does she Own stock in said company or does she just OWN some O f th e items from her friends clothing line? IN th estatement it seems like she said she owned some things, and not any of the company. SO how does i t benefit her personally?
Also since she was not on the clock(a s in doing her specific job) How can that be a violation? Also Since Trumps daughter is or can b eguarded by secret service She Is affiliated with the trump whitehouse. WHich if you read th eperson who is friends with Miss conway would have to NOT be involved with the trump whitehouse at all which if she is being guarded by the SS means she is.

Anti-American CNN is going after KellyAnne Conway in a crazy frenzy this morning. The anchors and guests (yes..they find Trump-hating guests even at 4:00am!) are fit to be tied that KellyAnne "broke ethics rules", and spokesperson Spicer said that she was only "counseled".

This is NOT a network that has America's best interest at heart. It has to go.

Not on the clock? You think she lives on camera at FOX News when she's not at the White House? Let's break it down? Indeed, she blatantly broke the law and needs to have her ass canned!

She was acting in an official capacity as a representative of the White House. I'd say that's on the clock. Also, as Ivanka is not an employee of the US government that makes their relationship nongovernmental. Not that that matters.
