Being in Philly is crazy right now with the weather..

Current temp is over 60 degrees today and we are under a winter storm watch for tomorrow expected to get something from 4-8 inches.
This pic illustrates the roller coaster ride we are feeling.
Oh well time to go out and enjoy a few hours of warmth!

in North Carolina one day it was like 75. the day before was like 50 so I put on shorts and short sleeves.. went out all the ladies had the same idea haha so I stayed out late, but when I went to leave my friend's bar I was met with a wall of freezing air.
It had gotten down to like 18 degrees.. Like WTH?!

It's been an odd winter. It's like you are sitting out on your back deck chilling in the warm night air and someone's like you heard about the snowstorm coming on Friday right? And you are like you mean in a week? no I didn't..
No tomorrow. Sure enough..

My body can't get used to it.

I think they are upping the projected totals now. Here in Reading, they are looking for 7-11 inches now.

When I was watching KYW earlier this morning, they were saying maybe as much as a foot for the nothern suburbs? Bah. I already grabbed more salt and filled a 5 gal gas can for the snow blower/generator if needed.

Just when you think you're going to skate through the winter without any real snow, February happens.

Don't forget that by the weekend it will be 60 degrees out again.

Yesterday, we had pouring rain. The weather guy said if it would have been colder, we would have received 8-10 inches of snow.

It is February. In Michigan.

It should have been snow, dangit!!!
I'm sick of the mud around here. Crazy for us.

We've been cycling up here in Alaska (Anchorage) for the whole month of January.

Seriously, we went around freezing (32 °F/0 °C) to -10 °F (-4.5 °C) in two days. We would get freezing fog, cold, a warm back up to freezing, a dump of snow, a couple nice days of normal temps then the whole cycle would start again!

We are still doing it right now. This started just before Christmas. Currently, we are over freezing on the way back down below 0 °F and next week... 40's and rain!

Kind of surprised this did not push south earlier! But then again PNW has seen it's share of bad weather over the past month.

The weather has been crazy for quite some time now. It surprises me it hasn't caused more of a stir than it has.

Yep up to a foot. And this is really, really weird.

I went to the gas station earlier today to fill a can for the snow blower and generator. I was warm in a sweatshirt. It was like a spring afternoon.
I was thinking - this has to be a joke. They are pulling one over on us.
Maybe the grocery stores needed a good day, so they started a rumor?

The grocery store was packed too.

I remember when the weather did crazy things when I was a kid in the 1960s-1970s, my mom would always say it was the Russians causing it.

I won't be surprised if you end up getting no snow tomorrow. Gonna keep up with it. Crazy in the southeastern U.S. atm as well. Looks like winter never got here for us.
