I am looking for an Immortal Human

You will be disappointed, humans are mortal, conditional.
For immortality, humanity must be transcended!
All that survives 'life' and 'death' is transcendental 'unconditional' Love/Enlightenment.
In this state, the 'we' morphs into the divine We, Our Universal form.
How much of humanity will survive their demise?
Only the unconditional Love!
How much of YOU is unconditional Love/Enlightened?

There are no 'immortal' biological humans, such a notion flies in the face of evidence and logic.

(Okay, they can be found in the imagination, mythology, fairy tales, so they do 'exist'... fictitiously.)

Well, who knows if immortals walk among us, though my guess is anyone lasting over a century would avoid humans at all costs...

but it reminds me of a strange meeting I had a few years ago... a young woman was staying at a secluded estate somewhere on the West Coast of Canada and told me her shadowy host (and his group of hangers on) was very involved in alchemy and one big secret I pried out was their belief that vit c (or C6H8O6) was one of the three ingredients to the philosopher's stone.

Knowing what I think I know, the the other two are likely sperm and blood... but as far drinking that concoction, you first!

I don't discount the potential for an immortal human wandering the earth somewhere. However I seriously doubt that they would be some super advanced being. It's very possible that they would be seen as wise beyond they're years, but they couldn't be more advanced than the times in which they lived.

I am Conner MacNeo of the clan MacNeo born in a thread on ATS, and I am an immortal.

My words will outlive me.

Well at least as long as ATS servers don't crash or run out of power.

I swear; the whole time I was reading the OP I was thinking of the damned Highlander theme song.

That is soo weirdly synchronized .

Let's say that the earth blows up, you're still alive, floating somewhere in space...forever...and ever.... alone...
let that sink in...

I think I'll pass. Seems like both immortality and death are one and the same.

I wonder if reincarnations with full memory and never forgetting would count? (Although I'd suspect if there were any truth, many of the past lives would have been mundane rather than famous.) It'd also be interesting to hear an account of somebody experiencing more than one lifetime keeping up the guise of innocence in the younger period of each life. (With such experience not only peers, but the grown-ups would seem too easily exploited.)

Unfortunately I can't claim to be immortal one way or the other, unless you count the elements which we're all made from. If an immortal (even if only in consciousness) were to exist, the stories would be interesting.
