This will most def make it difficult if not impossible to file charges. Why even offer to sell back any of the content though. Why not just release all of the non cp content out into the public? So now formal charges cannot be filed and they are ransoming the info back to the perps? How is this helping? How is anon going to collect this ransom? Not to mention they are commiting multiple felonies to boot.

I assume this is only one of many servers which hosts this type of content? 37gb does not seem like a lot of data.

ultimately, that is what they accomplished. Has anon become the go to name for cyber false flags? There are plenty of people who have made this point in the past.

If it is "found" that this "operation" has "subverted" LE's ability to prosecute, it could make another "good" argument to limit online abilities to "hack" or bolster a "need" to the censor the internet.
