And this is why I gave up on the Falcons way back in 1980, I got tired of watching them blow leads.

Good Show by the Pats though, kept the Atlanta Defense on the field for 40 minutes of the game and just tired them out.

Great game I like the fact that it was the "Patriots" who won - a symbolic win for the true spirit of America and our resilience.

Yeah, it was much closer than Super Bowls usually are. At the half it looked like a typical Super where one team just romps all over the other, and I'll be honest, I was sort of pulling for the Pats, not because I really care all that much, and in a normal, non-politically charged year, I'd sort of root for the Falcons figuring it was time someone else had a chance.

But all the hate leveled at Brady, Belichik and the Pats' owner because ... Trump ... just sort of rubbed me wrong.

Come off it people! Folks have a right to their life and their likes and dislikes and let football be what it's going to be without bringing all that crap into it.

You either like the Pats or you don't, but to decide the whole team deserves to lose because you dislike the supposed political affiliations of those three is just getting really, really old.

I did not watch whatever Lady Gaga did at half time. So I still have successfully avoided hearing anything she's ever done.
