Relaxing and having a trip down memory lane, thought i would post and share a few 1980's British new wave tracks i enjoy.

Music is for ever changing indeed.

Not in any particular order of preference.

I have to have my 80' Night at least once a week - the best times and best music.

Of course The Clash and later one of my all time Favs - B.A.D!

Mighty nice thread for a chilly Friday. S&F.

Especially like early Gary Numan in "Tubeway Army" days.

Uh... kind of. I still listen to Flock all these years later. I heard the entire Tainted Love-Where Did Our Love Go? at the coffee shop the other day. Far superior version IMO. And I love this funky hit...

Hell yeah. Tears for Fears is an underrated group lyrically and musically imo, because they get lumped in with synth-heavy vapid pop of the era (which is also unfair imo, since a lot of "pop" artists are quite brilliant too, they just cater to a mass market.)

Peace.

Hell Yes!

But that's not 80s retro.
That's 80s AMERICAN Punk.

Wrong thread brotha.

btw, I always found the live version tape of this song to be way better. Dunno why. Wait... It's punk, that's why!

Livage! Best version of their songs ever!!

Oops my fault....... I thought this was anti-new wave 80's thread.

My mistake
