In California it is more about creating a cheap, sustainable, renewable subsidized replacement labor force, they really don't want legal citizens in that population/labor force.

Providing them with the ability to vote is an added benefit.

This would be cool because then we'd get to see if California can survive without federal funds. The feds need to cut them off completely if they do this and then we'll see if they are self-sufficient.

And the other bonus would be that it may become a liberal utopia where they all start to flock, leaving less of them voters in the rest of the states assuring Republican victories for years to come. Ahh, just wishful thinking.

If so, we here in Austin, TX would truly appreciate it.

Liberal garbage has been moving to Austin for over a decade now. If they scurried back home to CA, that would be a dream scenario.

Most people who choose to emigrate here do so as they understand there may be a chance that it could raise the bar
in terms of quality of life for themselves.
They are tired they are weak and they are weary, they need a vacation from whatever abuses/traumas they wish to escape from.
We could raise that bar if we'd open rehab centers they could go to in order to rehabilitate/acclimate themselves to our way of life. Our quality of life seems within reach, we just forget to grab onto what we're reaching for...sink or swim-but if you break the law you're outta here.

Too many people treat us like a permanent vacation destination...free food and housing. Who know's what? I don't mind paying my fair share in taxes, but I actually earn the money.

If they must be let in put them through a rehab so they can begin to live a healthier way of life...

So miss california, your stash is dirty- your apron is torn- your strong economy will fail...
Don't adopt a child from tragedy unless you have the resources and the fortitude to carry it out...
They don't have to come here to get abused and traumatized, they can just stay in place for that.
