Fake Quote Mad Dog says we're going to China

A rather telling quote from Mad Dog Mattis

Edit: collietta has pointed out this is from a satire site. I had found it on quora and linked it back to it's duffel bag original article.. should have vetted it more thoroughly.

I must say the war with china is unnecessary as they own chunks of the USA.

It would be political sucide for our goverment. The UK wont touch this war with a barge poll like it didnt touch vietnam.

Unless you offer us hong kong back we have no incentive to join you on your military aventurism.

And even if our governent did join I certainly wont be signing up to go.

I also thought the Duffel Blog is military satire.

If "Mad Dog" Mattis still believes this, he could manufacture an urgent reason why we need to strike China.. Like Colin Powel did for attacking Saddam Hussein/Iraq.

I don't think he said any of the quotes in the article.

But because of his straightforwardness I can see how someone could believe this article; especially if you don't have a military background.

He said "eventually", not now.
