So the new norm now is to answer a post with "Obama did it"? I guess it's our fault since we've been saying that Bush did it (even though it's true).
You asked why those countries were chosen.
I just offered an explanation.

what a weird world you find yourself in.
What's weird that many Republicans actually believe he did anything except to make it worse. Even Pence is against him on his EO.

Sally Yates stood up to the unconstitutionality of the EO. Bravo to her for being on the right side of history and doing the right thing.
Also importantly, I love reading the right wingers' comments regarding this topic and all of you are cheering the fact that Gates was fired.
What you don't consider is how she reinforced the fact that Trump is a dictator. The global community and the US corporations have come out to denounce the muslim ban. The federal courts have already come out to say that the EO is unconstitutional.
Right wingers may rejoice of this, but the reality is that this is a huge black eye for Comrade Trump as he continues to dig his own political grave as the headlines of this will be plastered around the world.
Even Pence is against him on his EO.

She refused to do her job, so she was fired, what's the big deal? That's how it works in the real world. I guess people just aren't used to government being run efficiently like a business.

Resentment I suppose. And a Christian family have already been turned away. It doesn't look good for us to the rest of the world.

The law says the President has the right to do this, so thus it is the law.
(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

Fine line between insubordination and insurrection when a government agency head goes against a Presidential EO.
This acting AG made a "determination" without a precedent.
Very Very dangerous.
Mike Pence has said in the recent past that a Muslim ban would be unconstitutional.

I understand. I already knew that. Not relevant as the point of the ban is to keep terrorists from coming here.
