Ladystar you are dreaming of Thanos coming to this planet.

I'm thinking something different.
In the Pern books by Anne MaCafferty falling stars or the "Thread" fell from the skies scorching and burning everything.

When I first read the books I thought it was interesting that the author had tapped into older stories and archetypal fears of ours. Authors do this all the time as a literary device.

So if I'd of had your dream I'd of been wondering why all of a sudden I was seemingly experiencing such a ancestral fear of "death from above". Could it be a residual memory hidden in your DNA?

On the other hand with all the recent turmoil in the world and as you said, something coming right at us, it can just be your subconscious processing things.

Frankly I'm surprised everyone jumped on the Christian based guesses.
