Sadly, a bunch of up and coming rappers have lost their lives over street sh*t before they really blew up. I know here in Chicago, seems like we lose a new rapper every week at this point.

There are a lot of great rappers in Chicago- and, yes, it is so sad that so many young people die way too soon.
Glad to take the time with you to pay tribute to talent gone too soon..

Yeah, because rock stars, jazz musicians, country singers, and blues singers never died of drug overdoses or had their run ins with the law.

Goood call in the BIg L!

Iv never been a huge fan of rap but over the years certain ones have really stuck out to me...

Pac,Big L, Eminem, Dre, brother Ali, Tribe, Kendrick... and if course my current favorite my homies (whom I have never met) HomeBrew outta NZ.
Cool thread wish I could listen to some of the ones I'm not so familiar with..
