With less than a week in office, President Donald J. Trump has set a record for keeping campaign promises! His latest demonstration of character and integrity, is to order construction of "The Wall" on the U.S.- Mexican border, along with restricting the influx of potentially dangerous immigrants.

""WASHINGTON — President Trump on Wednesday will order the construction of a Mexican border wall — the first in a series of actions this week to crack down on immigrants, including slashing the number of refugees who can resettle in the United States and blocking Syrians and others from “terror-prone” nations from entering, at least temporarily.

During an appearance at the Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday, Mr. Trump plans to sign an executive order to direct federal funds to be shifted toward the building of a wall on the southern border, a signature promise of his campaign. He has argued that doing so is vital to gaining control over the illegal flow of immigrants into the United States.

“Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night. “Among many other things, we will build the wall!”"

The policy makes it mandatory for Border Patrol agents to release — without a Notice to Appear (NTA) before an immigration judge — any person they arrest for being in the country illegally.

So what is the price tag on this gonna be?
The wall seems ridiculous just increase funding and manpower to the border patrol give them some drones and the right equipment problem solved.
Besides walls can keep people in as well.

The same ones over and over again. I have a friend who came here illegally twice. The third time he came here legally, and is doing very well now. They need to be discouraged from breaking the law, and encourages to abide by it.

I think we need a thread on the reality of this wall ever being completed.

Donnie claimed Mexico would pay for that wall so seeing how we are paying for it looks like Donnie lied again. It will be funny though when the right wing southern states start whining the government is stealing their land to build the wall on.
