Articles of Impeachment

1. Donald John Trump did, in his official capacity as President of the United States, delete a post on the social media enterprise known as "Twitter", for the sole intended purpose of avoiding future Freedom of Information Act requests.

2. Articles of Impeachment now exits for vote in the House of Representatives.

3. Precedent(s) exist under The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

4. Recommendation for Special Prosecutor.

Way-Back-Machine will save him !!!

And I bet he's smart enough to back up everything on his own private server system.

Oh and I bet the NSA has the original.

I don't understand how a bunch of conspiracy theorists can think deleting a tweet means it's actually deleted...

Twitter keeps deleted tweets on file on their servers so it's still "preserved".

Wait a minute....

The Leftest are going nuts because of a deleted misspelled Twitter tweet that had nothing to do with National Security or really records for that matter since it is still archived on the POTUS account.....

BUT

Deleting Thousands of Government Records (emails) from a private server in which many were proven to be "classified" is OK?

The hypocrisy is amazing!

So, before Twitter, etc, were presidents ever allowed to use a pencil, and erase something?

huh? Make things up? Boy that sounds familiar? Oh right, Trump is a pathological liar who makes a good majority of things up, along with his administration. Your conservative "media" also feed you fake items but I'm sure you'll continue to keep your head in the sand and only blame the liberal media, which I assume you mean CNN.

I was wondering the same thing... maybe it's the fact that it was published that made the difference...
heck, I'm kind of horrified at the thought that all those tweets of his are going to be preserved for eternity...
from what I've seen, they don't deserve the space that is given to them on twitter even.

This 'news' could be the dumbest thing I have ever read on ATS.

Congratulations...here is your award.

I honestly would love to see the contortionist amount of back flipping liberals would be required to do to show they somehow care about a misspelled tweet deletion by Trump versus SOS Hillary Clinton deleting/moving hundreds of thousands of E-mails with many proven to contain classified materials.

Hmm, this is one of those things that becomes grey area for me.

Sine we know the tweet in question, if this is true, to me it's not something I'd have him impeached over.

Now if he said something inflammatory, etc.... I'd be more inclined to see a punishment.

He misspelled a word.

I know, the law is the law, but that's why I said for me personally this becomes less black and white and more of a shade of grey on how to handle it.

I'd love nothing more to see someone who gives me hope take office in the next 4 years, or even see Trump do things that I'd like to see a president do, while hes in.

But i'm not worried about him spelling Honored wrong and deleting it.

I find it funny. It's breaking the letter of the law, but seriously... it's completely trivial. It's something for people who dislike Trump to laugh over and that's all.
