Should aliens be arrested

If aliens realy exists and are visiting earth and we assume
that the abduction stories are true, that people have been
taken against their will and have been experemented on,
shouldn't the aliens be prosecuted for kidnaping, sexual abuse etc.

okay, assuming all these things happened, yes justice should be done.
But who will be arresting them?

Of course this is just for discussion, could be hard to realy arrest an alien.
And it may not be the best way to start of our new friendship with our
space friends, if they are friendly in the first place.

If humans are indeed taken against their will by aliens they should have to face earth law if they commit a earth crime while on our planet. Its like if a person from amsterdam was smoking pot in any country where pot is illegal they should have to face the laws of whatever country they are in.

But we cant enforce a law on Aliens so its really a moot point.

Yes alians should be arrested Im mean realy they come here from accross the galaxe and brake ever law in our books ,Kidnaping people,Expermenting on people,(probly cloning them to) flying over restricted air space, not filing a flyght plan , Poluting our envierment with god know what waves coming from there ships,
Braking ever speeding law ever created , Flying over the speed of sound within 200 miles of the cost.
evading arrest (not landing when told to by the F16 pilet.
And dozzens more .

Like you said yourself Todd, it would be pretty hard to arrest them. Most if not all of the abduction/experimentation stories take place onboard their ships, so we would have to catch their aircraft first with our inferior technology. Hypothetically, if an alien were captured, brought to trial, and found guilty, I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to prosecute it, even though it would be the right thing to do in my opinion. You wouldn't want to start a war or anything with an advanced race, a war which we would most likely lose. It sounds horrible, but maybe the only thing we can do is just bend over and take it up the arse . It's nothing new to me though, I mean I've had plenty of experience with the IRS

Theoritically the aliens should be arrested for abductions, mind control, implanting, or invading the aerospace.

But in reality if we would be capable to arrest them, just about any country would make a deal with them regarding abductions, etc.

I strongly believe, that there is existing business relationship between governments and aliens, regarding abductions, mutiliations, copper, in exchange of high technology useable against the "enemy" countries. It is also possible, that eg. the US Gov't is redirecting abductive aliens to Russia, so that human loss won't affect the States. With this I really mean, that a Government must carry out a systemathic manner of alien invasion upon individuals, in order to keep all under cover, yet the aliens may reward them with assumeable technology.

Abductions, human mutiliations do exist, however so far nobody came forward that his/her loved ones were abducted or mutiliated. Either because the victims were helpless loners, or the entire families were wiped out by aliens or governments. Personal identities may also disappear easily among the Gov't files.

Only a theory, but may be damn right!

Aye, but how do we know they wont claim self-defence? They could easily say that they lived here first (and even if that is false, I'm sure they could fabricate evidence) and that we are the invaders, squatters on their turf.

This is why I said "theoritically"! But I highly doubt that any court/government would ever punish them. You know: humans are far worse than any aliens. And the dominant governments know that. So it is more of a chance of what I have posted above.

But if they were here first why don't they just remove us, why are they probing people?

If we arrested them, than we should than arrest anyone who takes an animal from its home against its will.

If animals have courts of law then they should go right ahead and do that. Animals only have one law though survival of the fittest and we humans aint breaking that.

It would be very funny to see an alien behind bars....

I would certainly help him escape, and would establish a friendship. Cool things would happen, that's for sure. I'd learn mind control, telepathy, flying a UFO, and if I'd be smart enough, I would be a popular media star... far better than Copperfield!

I think, all aliens have a good side. Considering that they have evolved to a certain stage proves that they are not self-destructive. They must be caring to each other, and to those who help them, in order to evolve so dinamically.

Therefore, if a more primitive creature saved their life or freedom, in some terms they would be friendly to him.
