Seems like most are very calm, you do know what the word triggered means?

I do think it odd that the Pope is basically comparing Hitler to Trump. Very odd.

The aspect of Hitler's rise to power that is never addressed and which also plays a role in Trump's recent victory is that it was in response to another sickness called runaway socialism. All of these actions on all sides have an equally ill reaction on the other. We are destined to do this dance forever unless the people stop being fodder for political parties and make a movement toward pragmatic centrism.

Don't live your life as a carousel pony.

I think this proves that this Pope is part of and supports the globalist plans.
I was born and raised Catholic, but something always seemed off about Francis.

I mistrust Pope Francis.
If he does not like Trump, it makes me trust Trump even more.

I still get the feeling that this whole "thing" going on in the world right now is just like the movie The Stand.
There is an epic battle coming.

Yeah, my husband was a born & raised RC, half his family is from Italy. It doesn't get much more RC than being direct from Rome, lol ( < -- that's a joke, not a competition) He almost ended up going to seminary to be a priest, too.

His opinion is that Frank here is pulling no BS punches and means what he says. You can teach an old dog new tricks, in time. That seems to be the route he's taking with the congregation globally, "think & be better than this". He's made some positive progress within the church, according to my husband (I'll take his word for it) Also in his opinion, it's the more conservative Catholics that have a problem with any changes & new approaches taken.

Good point, we are all suckers for the Right and the left.

I also think the reparations from WW I in a way helped lead to WW II.

I would say, know the history and thus avoid repeating it.

No matter who it was that brought up this idea. Alright, the church probably should be last with all the dead bodies they have in all basements around the world.

But seriously, don' t you guys see the similarities in the approach ? Nazi Germany started out on a similar foundation. Actually they also started by building highways, roads, bridges, believed in their own superior strength to make Germany great again. Amongst other similarities. But what strikes me as the most important fact is that both societies, at least so it seems, are / were deeply hurt, feeling humiliated and unfairly treated by what happened to them. Dangerous grounds to walk on.

You know, being German you basically can't avoid learning these lessons of history in all sorts and forms. Collective guilt is what is cast upon us on daily basis, even a couple of generations later. Anyhow, it's probably all fake news as the current Nazis want to make us believe.

I really hope I'm wrong though. It's just thoughts that could come to a neutral, unbiased mind

Do you think that the Obama and Pope had an agreement on the "war on Terror"? Maybe Bush too and Trump is going to crap all over the plans?

Interesting question, when the Pope visited the U.S. last year Obama bowed to him like he was Christ himself...very unusual to have someone like Obama with admittedly Islamist sympathies bowing to the "vicar of Christ".

Remember that the Catholic Church is a Papal State since Mussolini granted them the designation and as such is permitted to fly a flag at the UN and hold a seat. The church has chosen not to participate in the daily agenda of the UN or fly a flag but it has every right. The Pope was permitted to address the assembly regarding what was basically the Globalist agenda from climate change to redistribution of wealth.

The Pope is a Jesuit which is the military arm of the Catholic Church...more like assassins. There is also a Black Pope who is the head of the Jesuit order and some say holds equal or greater power than the Pope because he deals in finance, war and politics....the Church is in the hands of the Jesuits who are extremely powerful, I think Obama is part of their agenda just like Soros, the Bilderbergs, CIA, Mafia, etc., etc., etc.

To answer your question, I think the Pope is well aware of the part Obama is playing in the war on terror and supports Obama and anyone else who will disrupt the ME. I don't think there is any difference between Clinton, Bush and Obama as far a pushing a neo-con Globalist agenda....that is what they are all about, they all work for the same powers and power corrupts absolutely.

So would you count the tarps and all the hand out to the banks/walstreet the same as war reparations that Germany had to pay for WW I

The reparations seemed to cripple the German econ and lead to horrible conditions that at least helped build Hitler.

The Pope reminded the world of how WW II Germany was formed. He also said how bad Hitler was and went into many different aspects of WW II Germany and he seemed to tongue and cheek say this is similar to Trump. But them said it is too early to judge Trump.

You don't need to have a beef with Trump to see that.

You don't need to be a Pope either.

Yes they have had beef before, remember Trumps twitter rant about the wall around the Vatican? He compared it to the wall he wants to build. (idiocracy)

The show?

Only a few shows involve the audience.

Now, let me put it this way. I have no idea as I'm to far away to really tell and obviously the situation can't be compared.

But by judging the absolut devotion to Trump on this board by many I get the idea that the sentiment is along the same line. What used to be reparations now might be the uncontrolled power and greed of the establishment and corporations

Whilst failing to clean up the sickness in his own organisation.
There is a much more obvious evil on his doorstep.
