OK, I've seen lots of doom porn threads here that take the crap in Revelations way too seriously. It's been a while since I was exposed to it, but there have been lots of creation stories. There are always Gods and Demons battling and the world didn't end.

If there really is God and Satan battling for an ethereal soul then why, if they both hold half of creation, would they want it to end.

What, the one with the most marbles (souls) wins? Wins what? Rule over what?

Oh, I know, if Satan can gather enough souls, he can lay siege to heaven again.

The bible essentially a patriarchal attempt to control the masses.

The only reality is Yin and Yang. You keep reincarnating until you wise up.

The first seal is plague or pestilence.
The bow and arrow image gives it away. It is one of the symbols of plague in the ancient world, found both in Psalms and in Homer; the Greek camp at Troy is filled with plague when Apollo starts shooting his arrows into it.
