You're promoting falsehoods.

There is no question - he lied.
He knowingly contributed to spreading racial division with his lies.
Simple facts.
This thread is about the fake news from the MSM on the inauguration crowd, though.

Yes, there's plenty of room to question your assertion that the reporter lied. Your opinion is just that, your opinion, not fact or truth. Even Sean Spicer doesn't claim that the reporter deliberately reported fake news. He readdressed the incident in today's press conference, and emphasized the need to double check before sending anything out on twitter. I assume that would also apply to the president.

He lied. It's in black and white. You don't confirm something like that if you don't know.
It's all very clear. I don't know why you are trying to rewrite this reporters fake news.

So they didn't have jobs when he was campaigning? Because I seem to recall Trump supporters bragging about the number of people he was drawing to his rallies.

The rallies were not hundreds of miles away.

The issue he readdressed was dealing with the MLK bust. He maintains his position on the crowd and how the media pushed a position where he had information saying otherwise. The media lied, got caught and was called out.

What you and the others on the left are ignoring is it has nothing to do with crowd size and everything to do with truth in media. A photo taken an hour before inauguration does not represent the turnout for the inauguration itself. More people were present than that photo showed is the point.

I drove by one of his rallies. There were more out of state (and I mean way out of state) license plates than in state license plates.

There is definitive evidence that Sean Spicer lied about the crowd size, regardless of what time a certain picture was taken. The crowds were comparatively smaller than Obama's inaugurations well as Clinton's and Reagan's inaugurations.

The press didn't lie or misrepresent the Trump inaugural crowd side, The White House did.

The White House also made a huge deal over a twitter conversation, between colleagues, in which the Churchill and the MLK busts locations were discussed, an error tweeted and corrected.

Nope. A lie is a deliberate attempt to mislead people to believe a falsehood. That's not what happened.

Yes that's what you guys say every single time your media is caught in lies. Your intentions are always good, our intentions are always bad.

Indeed, and he clarified exactly what he said on Saturday, which wasn't that the crowd was bigger than 2009.

Did you read the twitter conversation? There was no lie. Just an admitted mistake.

Change is not something to blindly aspire to. Progress is. Lower unemployment...Larger GDP plus Higher Unemployment and Lower GDP...are all CHANGE. One is better than the other.

I grow tired of trying to explain reason to the irrational.

There's the time lapse video, that's been linked and embedded multiple times. It shows the crowd entering and exiting. The Metro numbers, the buss parking passes all refute your claim. Get over it! Trump's crowd was weak compared to Obama's crowd numbers!

The White House lied!

It's amusing that the 'fake news' idea the left tried to push backfired on them and now they are trying to walk it all back to describing lies as 'mistakes'.

Perhaps they have learned their lesson.

The only fake news that I've seen is fake news that comes from the right and Russian Troll Farms. Especially so during the election, about Hillary Clinton's health, etc. But the White House, on its first day, showed us that intends to keep pushing fake news and alternate facts as policy.
