Looks like someone got upset over my post

OK here's a nicer version: for all the defensive excuses and generalising millions and millions of people as being 'on welfare', the bottom line is that this turnout was laughable. Never seen so many empty stands in my life. Hilarious.

You couldn't more wrong. For one congress hasn't voted for a war since WW2 second we have been fighting in other nations since WW2 so every President since then fits the bill for longest wartime President.

Congress authorized the use of military force for Iraq as well as the war on terror, which included Afghanistan. Our actions in Libya and against ISIS were also covered by AUMF. Contrary to popular belief when Congress "declares war" they dont have to use the term war. A congressional authorization for the use of force is the same so your a bit off on your response.

And now Trump will get to add to it. Let's see if his cultist hold him to the same standards.

What standards would those be?

Flat out lie. Not only does that treaty stop them from building one the NPT stops them as well.

Iran has been found in non compliance of the NPT going all the way back to before 2003. They have been found in non compliance on several occasions with regards to the nuke deal under Obama. The nuke deal does not stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. It only delays it for a few years.

If you dont want to take our word for it then how about Obamas -
Obama admits Iran nuclear deal only delays inevitable, leaves problem for future presidents

He has deported more than any other President.

Uhm no.. What he has done is change the way deportations are logged. Prior to his change illegals who were caught at the border were immediately bused back to Mexico and were not counted in deportation stats. Obama changed the way they are reported to include immediate border deportations in actual deportation nunumbers, giving the false impression deportations were up.
High deportation figures are misleading

I thought it seemed pretty quiet but then this was to be expected no matter which of the two won. Trump supporters wouldn't have turned up to support Clinton either, had she won.

I meant to ask, what's the white stuff down the middle of the street in yesterday's pic? I saw s a bunch of kids sliding on it but it didn't look like there had been snow in DC?

We're talking a difference of around a million people. No amount of excuses will change the fact that such a considerable number can't be purely attributed to the desperation shown in this thread so far.

People may have voted for him, but obviously don't feel impassioned enough to turn up.

basically, the passion of his voters is clearly not there...passion is love...its not surprising that his voters lack this. If you are filled with hate, not a lot of room for love.

All it says is Trump supporters didn't attend his inauguration in the same numbers as Obama's and according to another post I saw yesterday Bush's inauguration also had similar numbers as Obama's.

GW Bush crowd from similar rear sky view.

OP Trump crowd

OP Obama crowd

Last 3 presidents initial inauguration crowds - roughly cropped and resized for comparison. Note: the bush pic goes furthest back making it appear to have the most people depending on how many were cropped out of the Obama pic, but in fairness it was on a Saturday

The concert the night prior I noticed Trump said something like "This is amazing with tens of millions of people", I was thinking jesus he's exaggerating just a bit there.

As far as the 3rd picture posted, that was from the front of the crowd whereas the comparison photos posted by the OP were from an identical rear sky view. Anybody that's ever been to a large outdoor event with a single stage knows that a picture from the front would be the most crowded therefor the OP's comparison is fairly accurate and the third pic from the front was an amateur attempt of disinformation.

Here's one of many articles on the MSM about lacking attendance to the Trump inauguration parade later that day. www.usatoday.com...

Notice the empty stands.

The only thing clear is Trump is not very popular at the moment. That can change if he actually does a good job.

Probably the quietest inauguration in a long time. I didn't think that was the entire reason for it being quieter. I.kmoe.there were supporters (and no doubt protesters) from all over the states there, maybe it was the lack if DC support showing, among other things. We can only really speculate..

Doesn't prove anything really. Obama's inauguration was history in the making; first black president.
So what now? Obama is the greater of the two because he has more attendees? Let's wait 4 years and see who does more good for the country and then see who is the better POTUS. Because after 2 terms Obama hase t really did anything, except for giving more food stamps to people then any other president, Obama phones, and a failed "Obama care". And let's not forget the disaster that was the Iran deal.whitch they made john Kerry and Obama their bitch, basically getting everything they wanted out the deal, including BILLIONS of US dollars in cash that had to be airlifted in a plane.

Let's give this man a chance, he surely can't be any worse then Obama.

I'm sure yesterday was also history in the making. Isn't Trump the least qualified President in History? (I don't meant that as a slight against him even if he is a donkeybonnet, I mean it as a matter of fact)

Your spot on right with that, he is the least qualified president in history. At this point in America I believe we needed an outsider, non career politician to break out of the rut we are in.
But he is/was very successful is building a massive business, and there is no doubt he is very smart, driven, dedicated, and very capable of "making America great again", but only if he applies himself and work ethics correctly.

Only time will tell.

this thread tickles me. It's right up there with the one claiming Trump is evil for saying he's taking the weekend off. (even though he really didn't) This is the best you got. LOL, the best.

a reply to: xuenchen Your post is useless and meaningless except to prove you are either F.O.S. or don't have all of your faculties intact upstairs, in which case I apologize for your disability.

Showing the rear view of the front stage is a meaningless augment unless you want to pull up the same view for previous inaugurations for comparison since all previous inaugurations that would be the first section to fill up just like any concert or large event. The OP's post is about the lack of people that fill up the rear when compared to previous inaugurations.

Oh believe me. We know. We know no one likes Trump. Just give us a candidate we can like and he'll be gone.

His supporters don't exist outside of computer world though. They're incredibly lazy and never show up except when the Internet makes it convenient for them so don't forget that. I'm pretty most of the campaign was run by Internet bots anyways.

Good work. You can see it's all empty on the sides like the aerial shots. Subways were empty, National Mall was empty. No one showed up. Lazy people.

Oh yeah. You don't know. He's the resident crazy. His world is really fragile so don't mess with him too much. You'll only get repeated bot responses with a smiley over and over. Not even sure that's an actual person.
