Weirdness, the Fox stream captions reads "Awaiting White House departure of Trumps & Obamas"..What do they mean by this? I thought one is leaving and the other is staying.

ETA: I'm starting to guess they're both currently at the WH, and will travel to Capitol Hill together...

The Presidents will ride together to the swearing in. The first ladies together and the Vice-Presidents will also ride together. All in separate cars.

What a waste of time.

Dont see why you americans make such a big event out of it.

UK when we elect another prime minster we just shrug our shoulders and get on with it like it is another day.

Why? Cause we worked out long ago that whoever you elect will screw us over.

Better to wait 100 days at least to decide if Trump is worth celebrating over....

Today has been an uncomfortable day for me... I've had this bad feeling recently that something would happen today, like an attack on Trump or an attack on this country (to test out the new administration immediately and create a distraction from Trump starting his plans).... I hope I'm wrong.. I hope nothing happens today with Trump being sworn in..

Hard on Hilary to be there.. She is trying to not look mad or depressed so respect for that at least, but it looks like she is thinking about this should be her and she missed it.
