Maybe the Great Pyramid is a giant ID for our Planet?

Leaving all other opposing infos aside; it just came to my mind:

1. It shows where the north is.
2. It shows the wobble of Earth's axis which differs 1 degree in 72 years.
3. We can calculate the distance of Sun
etc. etc.

Maybe (in my fantasies) it is an ID card for the planet for the visitors from the same species? Lets say these guys leave these pyramids (assuming building them is very easy for them and quick) to the planets they find habitable or can be put to a good use. Like a showcase to the dimensions and other properties of the planet for the ones to learn the info pretty quickly with their own reading techniques. Maybe even without stepping out of the spaceship. You will say "Oh then they don't need that info; they can scan the whole planet with their spaceship and calculate the distances etc." Yes you are right.

But what if?

I don't think we humans would build something that great just to warn, assuming the thousands of slave kind of workers whose wage was water and food.

Maybe the rich were trying to create more jobs who knows

I might entertain that a marker was or is a locator such as Polaris or Orion. vastly more visible than a dark planet that orbits a typical sun. However, I don't subscribe that any of earths 'signs' really make worthwhile markers for navigation.

I like the idea. But I assume that a space fairing race capable of reaching us, would have already charted and mapped the planets and solar system far before they came close to orbit us. It's a matter of navigation and plotting, which has to occur just to land an orbit around the noisy green blue ball, third from the star.

Yeah, I am afraid that the idea of an advanced space race of aliens with the capacity to fly through space in big space ships assembling pyramids to help them remember where they are

If it was markers, it would be for a speices already on the planet, because offworld in space, they'd have electronics and other means to navigate.

I would make more sense that it was markers to highlight a certain place and point in the sky at various times,

For all we know though, they could of been ancient transmitters to these places they match up with.

There might be another reason many ancient monuments point to these same locations, maybe long ago the light was visible from an ancient war or natural events and these were built by our ancestors to mark them.

It's fun to wonder, keeps the mind strong.

What an extremely synchronistic coincidence for me to see this today in the morning. Just yesterday, I was watching Graham Hancock, speak about the pyramids and the intricacies involved in building the Pyramid and how it is aligned perfectly to the True North, and the mathematics is very precise.

For an ancient culture to do this without any technology is quite remarkable. I have heard countless counts and stories of it not being built by Humans and came to the same conclusion as if the Pyramids act as some sort of indicator or a mark on a galactic map for other species to identify, locate, and track the planet.

Glad not the only one with this thought, I encourage you to check out Graham Hancocks work he speaks deeply about the pyramids.

GREAT theory!!! I can get on board with that! To add to your theory, The Great Pyramid of Giza is also located at the intersection of the equator and prime meridian - the center of the earth!!!
I propose we call this, "The belkide hypothesis"

They say if the sun is on it one could see it way out there in space. That is when it had its original line stone casing.

There's a greater possibility that humans are all descendant from aliens. We have been divided by tribalism and nearly extinct ourselves multiple times, losing knowledge and technological advances over and over again. Each time we revive, thinking we are the most advance, we end up creating the continuous loop of near self-destruction. In other words...we are the aliens on Earth.

I can get on board with a theory like this... I think along these lines too.

All energies have a place of which has a higher capacitance output is concentrated more than all other areas of it, and Giza is where the Earth's supposedly is. I can see how the pyramid can act as an emitter that leaves a specific signature if able to be read by entities out the milky way.
